46, Evander was 26 in the 80`s and Ruiz was 19 at the time.

Getting a gift Olympic gold medal, having a powerful promoter and hype machine behind him, being protected by the referees (probably the judges as well in Britain) don't count as being privileged in your book?

Privileged is putting it mildly. I'm no AJ hater, and, while not denying or taking away from his substantive in-ring ability, I'd say he is and has always been downright pampered.

Explain. I was actually surprised how quickly and early in his career they brought meaningful top 10 challenges to him. I'd say that's the opposite of pampered.

Marciano would have been slapped down by Ruiz's tits, before he could mount a serious attack. Same thing will happen to that puny Usyk! When it's his turn to fight that gargantuan sized blob. Those puny cruiserweight's don't stand a chance against these 260lbs behemoths! Weight division for a reason!

I remember seeing the behind the scenes of this a while back. they were being very courteous saying how much they respected each other, hilarious that Ruiz then goes on to call him a quitter in the actual filming, he is having fun here, whereas AJ looks like he'd rather be anywhere else.

I know that, I was there.. I just couldn't understand him... I was taking the mick a bit, I guessed he must have said 46 but I listened to it a few times and I kept getting him sort of saying 26..

    Clearly not.. Lol

Who Erislandy Savon? He would get schooled again if it is a 3 round fight for sure.

He won the first three rounds against Ruiz who has much faster hands than Savon had and morr power, after the first three AJ would destroy Savon.

Yeah of course. Good point. Andy's not at all chiseled like the other shorter heavyweight champs in the past.

Ruiz could have a big bulky heavyweight lie AJ better than Mrciano could because he`d be too light, Foreman pushed Frazier to the outside everytime he got close because he was so light, he couldn`t have done that to Andy meaning he could get inside on George.

You're right about the Olympics and promoter but he's hardly been protected by judges. He doesn't have any controversial wins to my mind. The Parker fight was reffed poorly but not to a point where I think it made a huge difference and the Takam stoppage was laughable in a fight he was well ahead in.

    Privileged? Yep. Protected? No.
