Collins was no different to what he always has been? Why the surpise?

 

Not really, no.

Saw him trying to sell a fight, like fighters needing money have done from the start of prizefighting.

 

Finished watching last night with a real dislike for Collins! was bordering on delusional and slightly disrespectful.

 

thought collins came across as a bit of a plank tbf. all well and good selling a fight for the oap title, but when eubank pressed him why he didnt fight calzaghe you seen he didnt want to talk and was on the defensive.

enjoyable show though

 

I'm aroad at the moment so didn't get to see this-gutted! Anyone know where I can watch it?

 

Collins did come across as knob every time Calzaghe was mentioned all I could see and hear was a duck flapping his wings and quacking and TBH he never wanted Jones.

It says something that at a table including Chris Eubank, Collins was the biggest knob by far in fact Eubank came across well.

 

Collins is a twat and always has been, even as a youngster when the public loved his working class Irishman deal I just thought he was a tit. Eubank could have left it a bit but still Collins overall couldn't take banter and just seemed bitter for no real reason

 

Looking forward to seeing this.

 

Tried to watch it back just then.....Honestly couldn't.

May tweet Sky ask them if they can do it again with Benn instead of Collins.

Collins came across as a pure knob. However, to say he didn't want Jones is pretty laughable. He retired because he wanted that fight and didn't get it.

It should have been mentioned last night, when Collins was getting mullered for not fighting Calzaghe, he should have turned it around and said "I didn't fight Joe for the same reason Joe didn't fight Froch". They were irrelevant at the time.

Now Joe obviously turned out to be the man, but at the time Collins wanted THE man in Roy Jones.

Thats the fact of the matter.

But he definately did come off poorly, always has an arrogance about him thats not befitting of his actual abilities.

Whoaa didn't know about this, that is literally about a 1 minute walk from my house

 

Should have avoided the Jones vs Collins discussion set a **** tone for how the discussion was going. Other than that I thought it was a great show. Jones on Toney was good after Collins threw his name in there but I think Jones didn't want to give him any sort of praise(I think he nodded slightly when someone mentioned his natural talent).

You could listen to Eubank, Jones and Woodhall all day. Think I seen someone mention it early in here but Nelson cut Collins out when he was talking about the 2 Eubank fights would of liked to hear what he was going to say.
