Think collins is slightly deluded. Roy would have beat him handily. He complains about roy not fighting him then goes on to say hes not interested in fighting calzaghe basically because calzaghe wasn,t a big name. Pretty much like steve was to roy jones...not a big name.

Collins was a good fighter but he caught benn and eubank at the right time of their career. Basically when they we,re finished or at least well past their best. He,d have been competetive against them at their best but they,d both have beat him...especially eubank who would have been a bad match up for steve. Outside of an old eubank and benn....he doesnt have snything on his resume thst points to causing roy jones problems.

Its exactly what happened. Jones refused to fight Collins.

lol! Hearns would have destroyed Collins and Duran would have out-pointed him, Hagler was far more skilled than Collins with a better , longer jab.

I thought Jones took roids to put on weight to make heavyweight, roids help recovery while doing reps so you can do more reps in a shorter space of time and build muscle quick.

Never understood the fuss for Jones Jr vs Collins. Would have been a one sided fight in favour of Jones.

Do you think Collins would have beaten all the figters Hagler beat at middle? Hagler would have beaten everybody Collins fought I know that much.

I think Collins was as good as Dell Valle, Griffin and Harding.

He got popped down at LHW and he wasn't being tested at all for them prior to that, for the first 11 years of his career. You do the math.

What I`m saying is all roids does is aid recovdery so that more reps can be done, it`s a myth that roids are some magic pill.

Olympic medalist. Former SMW world champion. Finished 26-3. That's a solid career. Not elite or on the level of those guys sure but a respectful career to have none the less.

Collins didn`t have the same KO percentage as the guys that knocked Hearns out, he couldn`t really punch that swell at all.

Bloody hell mark, he was a terror for everyone he met, he tough out the early boxing lesson and trouble hearns late and stop him. He punches hard enough an often enough to catch up with Tommy who was fragile at middle
