But he ain't doe :yep I don't count the 3-round NC like BR does, how fair is that?

Lucas has 32 KO's in 36 fights = 88.8% rounded up to 89% KO rate
Gennady has 23 KO's in 26 fights = 88.4% rounded down to 88% KO rate

It's a tight race, and Matthysse has stopped the better opponents/chins. I'm actually Golovkin fan too.

He is economical with his movements, incredibly intelligent, very disciplined (the fact that he kept his composure and fought on against Ouma while still recovering from flu speaks volumes), his legs and his offensive arsenal are perfectly in sych, and he has great chin.

His only enemies are corruption in the sport (I can see him knocking down Canelo 4-5 times in a fight and loosing a lopsided UD) and the fear he instils in his opponent. He is feared, make no doubt about that, and feared fighters need to offer outstanding compensation to their opponents in terms of finances, to make fights happen.

PS: Rosado beat the highly heralded prospect in his next fight after his battering loss to GGG, so he is NO SCRUB.

He's solid, but you'll never convince anybody who saw Marvin Hagler that GGG is the greatest middleweight of the last 30 years, much less all time.

I like the guy. But over rating him will lead to backlash. Just enjoy his career and see how it pans out.

Definitely not the greatest of all time. The best middleweight currently.

Listen, I think Golo's fanatastic, and I'd jump on his nuts too if there was any room left. But it's a bit early to bring in the GOAT talk yet, innit?

PS. I Tried to start a 'Kayo Kings' Thread 'bout a week ago:- Golovkin, Matthysse, and Kovalev (at LHW) - if you've not seen Kovalev yet, give him a look over. Golovkin's my leader of the pack, cos' I think his all round game is sublime, but all 3 are deadly hitters with Matthysse having the best resume, but Kovalev (if you exclude the TD which shoulda been a NC) at 90% KO - these are the guys whose fights you don't wanna miss.

Oh yeah, and Kayo 3s the place to be..

I'm not even sure about that one. Chavez would have his hands full.
