A few quotes of wisdom from the fistic experts of the Golden Era, in a time when men were men, before the days of the horrible vile racist (who's grandparents andd parents were victims of racism and was himself forbidden to eat in superior diners) Cassius Clay.

YOU 80 years later when men are not men, champion this modern filth and decadance...and sew VITRIOL 80 years LATER. Well, those halycon days were brimming with educted, respectable KKK members sitting upon the Judges panel and pure bred championship fights were a plenty. Unlike today, where we must witness this embarrassing mockery of morality, which is mixed race bouts and general equality.

Well you no-nothing pups who do not possess the GUTS to slaughter thousands of innocent Vietnamese civilians, are free to buy into this colour televised charade, but I, will take the words of the thousands and thousands of boxers and boxing writer EXPERTS of that time and well, well I am in good company, CHEERS

John L Sullivan - "I never fought a n*****, and I never shall. Its below the white man to let a black man fight for the title"

Mickey Walker - "Why did you give that n***** a shot?" to Harry Greb fighting Tiger Flowers

Jack London - ""One thing now remains. Jim Jeffries must emerge from his alfalfa farm and remove the golden smile from Jack Johnson's face. Jeffries, it's up to you! Jeffries, it's up to you! The White Man must be rescued!"

James Corbett (after a George Dixon fight) - "They are loudly proclaiming the superiority of their race, to the great scandal of the whites, who declare that they should not be encouraged to entertain even feelings of equality, much less of superiority. The Olympic Club management have about decided not to hold any more colored contests."

Referee of Gans vs Walcott draw - "I couldn't see any difference between two n******."

Is this the appropriate place to point out that Joe Frazier was so broken up about Ali calling him a gorilla that he ended up a wife-beater?

Is that true? I think allot of people blame Ali for Frazier's bitterness post boxing but in truth he had little post-boxing career that in my opinion saw him dwell on the past too much

Boxing judges being Klansmen would explain why Ali got those decisions against Norton and why he never got screwed on the cards. He did put in his fair share of quality time with 'em, after all.
