Maybe but they weren't powerful punches, he could've gone the final 2. He was never hurt.

Great performance by Kid Galahad, first I've seen of him in truth. Most advanced fighter I've seen at this level in a while. Shame about the feeble power.

Thats not his style unfortunately, he doesnt get good leverage or sit down on his punches enough. He needs to start switching up between flurries & loading up.

He is only 22 & still learning his trade, strong at the weight, fast & elusive. I like some of his moves, his pivots & he's been impressive on the inside as well tonight. Good performance from the Kid :!:

Good call the stoppage there. That fight was boring and needed stopping.

The kid is definetly a skilled boxer, but does he have the power to go to European level and beyond?

I realise it's still early days but I'm not convinced.

Probably should have been stopped earlier. No point getting badly scarred for life with the fight being such a one sided beating.

Probably not beyond Euro IMO. I can see him befuddling the odd Eastern Euro/Italian muppet they bring over that never see that kind of style.

But beyond that, when he's against better offensive fighters than Josh Wale (who did catch him with a few good shots) that are power punchers, its going to be like a pee shooter against a magnum. He's going to get walked down until he can't hold the guy off anymore.

Really nice to watch though, mastered a lot of the more advanced things that we neglect as a fighting nation. Pivoting, circling, turning his man, developing some good counterpunching. Impressive.

  13. I'm from the school of believe that fighters lose and they don't always have to mean something. He was never going to win the fight and wasn't going toet knocked out but take punishment for a further 3 rounds.

Get 'em out as soon as possible once the outcome is obvious in my opinion.

To stop guys walking through you. If you can't hurt a guy it's hard to stop him doing what he wants, unless you've got mega skills and speed.

  15. Just thinking he same...

He's clearly a very skilful fighter and doesn't get hit too often. If he improves then there is no reason why lack of power should be a major problem. He wouldn't be the first feather-fisted fighter to reach World Title level.
