Exactly what happened to me, I was doing work and came back thinking "why are they showing old footage of chris eubank", doesn't suit how he looks at all.

His 4th fight against someone who was 14-5. Come on, that's impressive.

Usually in a 4th fight you'd expect them to be fighting people with records of 5-14.

What would you class as moving fast? Putting him straight in with Martin Murray?!

Isn't it a common thing for Lynes to be sick during/after a fight? :yep

I was going to pick Witter to win tonight, as well :patsch

When someone with a 14-5 record has a recent defeat against someone with a 5-11 record, it means their record is full of extremely low level padding.

I've no qualms with the matchmaking, he's being matched at the right level for his ability and he is learning. I'm just pointing out that it's an extremely low level, and it's the level that most fighters that aren't considered prospects start at.

This fighter Jnr fought tonight - he barely resembled a boxer at all. Frankly I think he may compete in another contact sport primarily. The fighters the opponent fought probably don't have decent chins, it's more that the person in question can't throw a punch effectively.

It's not as insulting as it sounds, technical deficiencies at the lowest level results in an inordinate amount of PTS decisions, it's why there are so many pts decisions in developing boxing nations like Slovakia.

    Read it and learn

Had a great night tonight....thoroughly enjoyed the Kid fight, you had to be there to completely appreciate the movement and defensive skills. Disapointed with Eubank, I expected more I suppose but we have to accept that he'll never be as good as his dad....no way, nowhere close

I'll stop bashing them when they do something right or people start to realise how average the dynasty is. Whichever comes first.

I may have been harsh in the judgement but I would bet that he didn't look as wild as his son did. He throws dumb wide hooks that miss which will get punished when he steps up. He's entertaining but perversely looks and sounds even more featherfisted than the Kid.

There are a lot of Johnny Come Lately boxing fans who consider power to be everything, believe me, it isn't, not by a long way. The Kid has decent skills and he stings when he throws. Its important to get the fundamentals in place and then they can work on the power...it will come I'm certain

This kid is very skilled for a guy that's only had 12 fights, with good defence & speed. Just hope his punching power comes on in the next 12 months.
