It is amazing how little changes (list by Farhood and Collins ;)).

    Good:

    The one punch KO
    History lives
    Toe to toe exchanges
    The IBHOF
    Mike Tyson
    Fight Fax
    Upsets
    The Blue Horizon
    Butterbean:nut
    Brits
    Boxing Movies
    Chuck Bodak's head
    It is a guy thing
    There is no off season
Slo-mo replays and creative camera shots
All shapes and sizes have a chance
    Round card girls
    Nicknames
    Oscar de la Hoya
    The resurgence of MSG
Veterans like Azumah Nelson and Mike McCallum
What else is there to root for in Bismarck?
    The boot strap factor
    Jerry Buss
    Everybody is an expert:think
The guy with the deer head who comes to the ring with Yori Boy Campas
    Michael Buffer:roll:
    Tuesday Night Fights
    Corner microphones
    Naseem Hamed
    The announcement of Split decisions
    Christy Martin
    Staredowns
    There is no Dick Vitale
    Courage
    Individual expression
    Boxers as people
    Pound for pound debates
    Classic series
Even bad fighters can make for great fights
It is not over, until it is over
The anticipation before a big fight
    Mandatory challengers
    March 8 1971

    Bad:

    The inevitability of brain injuries
    Split titles
    Lack of mainstream media coverage
    NBC
    Tommy Hearns
    Roy Jones' Basketball career
Over the hill fighters, who will not go away
The ratings of WBA, WBC and the IBF
    Pernell Whitaker's attitude
    The decline of Ferdie Pacheco
The embarrassing work of George Foreman
The IBO, IBC, WBF, WBO, etc...
    Mismatched main events on PPV
The passing of ring line ups
    The accidental headbutt rule
Boxing in States with no commissions
Boxing in some States that do have commissions
    Promotional options
    Great White hopes
    The condition of Muhammad Ali
    No Howard Cosell
    Unqualified Refs and judges
    The live for today mentality
    Amateur scoring
The decline of neighbourhood fight clubs
    High ticket prices
    No more 15 round fights
    Immediate rematches
    Don King

Interesting rundown. But not sure sure how De La Hoya is on GOOD, and Great White Hopes are BAD.

De La Hoya = The Closest Thing To A Great White Hope.

de la Hoya was sold as a Latino crossover IMO.

  4. guy.. what absurd comment
george foreman was 46 in 1996 and he was stolen in 1997 against shanon briggs. tons of legends were exposed and humiliated in his late 30s by ko or tko. but you are Reproaching foreman that he was no very good at this time...:nut
