In the past I've been a critic of Amir (and I still will be)
but Im sick of being negative about fighters

-Hes got a glass chin.....SO WHAT?

-His defense is leakier than the Titanic after hitting an iceberg......SO WHAT?

-He comes out with stupid comments like having 2% body fat...SO WHAT?

-Hes overhyped and shouldnt be on sky box office.... SO ****ING WHAT?

Ive turned over a new leaf this year and decided that instead of constantly critizing the boy I will focus on the positives.

-Hes searched out on of the worlds top trainers, he spars with the best.

-Amir wants to be world champ and hes willing to put the hard work in.

For that alone he deserves my respect.

IMO if Auldey had have put as much effort in as Amir is currently putting in he wouldnt have been world champ by now. I wish Amir the best on March 14th and I will offer my support.

co-signed theres no reason why they cant make some FANTASTIC domestic fights if he beats berrera.

but at the same time he can only fight who warren puts infront of him......

hopefully warren realises these fights need to be made!

You all make good points but I still hope MAB gives Khan a proper pasting. Amir should wait until he has beaten a somebody at the height of their career, (whether that be international or domestic) and not no-hopers and people who have seen better days. Then come and tell us how you're going to be the best in the world.

    Viva Barrera!

I agree, I've said for ages now he gets far to much ****. He is an exciting fighter and seems like a good lad, loves boxing and puts in the hard work. I think he's just not the smartest lad on the planet. I think he'll UD Barrera as well.

Fair play for him putting in the work and I hope he does go on to world titles........ But MAB is a legend and one of my favorite fighters to watch so come the March 14th i'll be cheering him one.

If Barrera still looks decent and Khan beats him then I will consider myself a fool and back the young un again

If he walks through a shell of one of my all time faves and then crows about it , it'll be a hard one to take.

Assuming Barrera can still go , then yeah good luck to him !

I don't particularly enjoy that he's trying to build back up his floundering reputation by fighting a very old, battle worn, super feather.

He should go the proper legit route for normal British fighters, British then European honours. If he did so, he might not even have that KO loss on his record.

Good point but Khan, either through Warren getting in his ear or his family doing the same, thinks his talent is beyond the domestic and European scene. It's a shame as he would probably clear up if he stuck to it but he is in the clouds with all the smoke getting blown up his arse. :smoke

  14. I agree with the opinion that after MAB he needs to be cleaning up the domestic lightweight scene before moving on to world title belts.

He would get a hell of a lot more credit and respect from the British boxing scene if he did it this way instead of leap-frogging into a WBO title shot.

Either way though I wish him good luck.

Don't see a problem with the fight....still a huge step up in class.

Yes its a old, battle worn super feather...but its an ATG Mexican warrior aswell, just labelling MAB, who hasn't had a 'shot' performance to date as just a very old, battle worn super feather is it a bit unfair.

I give Khan HUGE respect for taking this fight...its a brilliant fight for him and will catapult him right back up to the top tier of rankings if he wins.

    Good luck Khan! :good
