This is the one thing the UFC will NEVER have. And thats respect. ALL PRIDE fighters and most of all the fans had respect for martial arts. And a great profound respect for the sport. Dam i miss PRIDE..

I miss Pride & i especially miss THAT crocop... I wanna see the guy from the 2002-2005 era... But i guess you can't go back in time and & pretend as if nothing has changed...fighters change...organisations change too...the sport changes..

Crocop looked like **** in his latest fight but it's not even a surprise anymore. I guess the only thing that could potentially redeem his career would be a top notch performance vs overeem (in a rematch) , & a victory over fedor...or at least a superb performance...but it's not likely to happen.

Still , not a lot of fighters are like them...(pride fighters) , it's stupid to label them as pride fighters because orgs don't create fighters...But pride fc really used to be something special... They're trying to regrab that magic in DREAM but it's not the same...

It's not their fault though...they lost too many big names to begin with...But i have high expectations for NYE. Because from what i understand , it'll be a K1's Heros + dream co production. (so it's supposed to be huge).

How about the "sportsmanship" were they paid rampage to lose by submission?

Where cheated Rulon Gardner out of most of his purse?

    Where they CLEARLY WORKED fights?

    Respect my ass.

Oh and UFC fighters NEVER respect each other right? **** off with your Pride tinted glasses, almost all MMA fighters respect each other.

And the pride fans never boo'd, never showed disrespect right?

If your opinion is that only Pride fighters respect each other, as it pretty clearly is, than you are a ****ing ******, period.

Lets not forget several instance of Pride fighters behaving very disrespectfully, such as Rampage-Wanderlei showdown at Pride 25, or Chute Boxe vs Hammer House fiasco in the ring and backstage or the recently posted video of Krazy Horse and chute boxe fighting or Gomi attacking Azerado after he was knocked out or Gilbert Yvel's antics.

So much to name. Infact I reckon there have been more instances of disgusting disrespectful behaviour that has damaged MMA in Pride than there has ever been in the UFC.

So Scurla is seriously wrong on all accounts, forgetting his MMA history and letting bias cloud his judgement and seep into opinion.

O yes of course because thats what i said wasnt it? A statement that i made that was ENTIRELY subjective on the merit of CC and Nog and you`ve taken this an absolute right across the board. And im the one who`s a ******? Its abundantly clear from your skewed reasoning who the ****** is. Now like iv said already jackass if you dont like an opinion dont read it. Its really that simple. Now **** off back to Sherdog.

What you mean the ones that YOU know about and that your aware of? None of this has ANYTHING to do with the price of fish. Beebs being the usual obtuse **** that he is is digging for a point that has no importance whatsoever to thread or to the video. Of course my opinion is subjective as a PRIDE fan. The respect was there between fans and fighters. If you want to contest a statement that is far from an absolute thats entirely your perogative being the nature of a DISCUSSION FORUM. Beebs on the other hand being the usual UFC fratboy isnt capable of rationale and immediately has to resort antagnoism and name calling. Pretty much defines the word **** in my eyes. Beebs = ****. Everyone happy now
