In light of all the recent bash Floyd threads, I have decided to make a thread showing a good side of Mayweather Jr. Love him or hate him, you must respect him. By 2020, the Floyd Mayweather Jr. Act might be introduced. 1) Fighters are to undergo Olympic style drug testing year round. 2) Fighters are to receive financial advice from Mayweather Promotions/GBP financial expert. 3) Boxing camps emphasizing defense for every young aspiring fighter. 4) Fighters are to be randomly weighed in-between fights to ensure they are not fighting too weigh-drained with food and drink intake monitored. 5) Judges with more than 1 incorrectly scored fight are to be fired. 6) Mismatches where one fighter is likely to take constant punishment will try to be avoided through extensive research of fighters styles and records. 7) Medical expertise for head trauma to be available at fighters request free of charge. 8 ) A sanctioning body cannot have 2 world champions at the same weight. No interim or diamond belts. And how the points above relate to Floyd Mayweather Jr.: 1) All of Floyd's opponents are required by contract to undergo USADA testing . Fighters under the Mayweather Promotions banner are required to do the same. 2) Floyd has invested in property. He has a trust fund for his children. He has said in a recent fight hype interview that he ensures the fighters he promotes are not in debt and are able to pay rent and provide for themselves. He left Bob Arum claiming Arum owes him money. He took a stand by leaving Top Rank. 3) Floyd has a great defense. He emphasizes the importance of defense. 4) Mayweather Jr. stays in shape and fights near his walking around weight. He has said Hatton's ballooning in weight contributed to wear and tear on his body. 5) CJ Ross, the judge who scored the Bradley-Pacquaio fight for Bradley, retired after scoring the Mayweather-Canelo fight a draw. 6) Floyd Mayweather jr. has said on numerous occasions that "there is nothing cool about taking punishment" 7) Mayweather Jr.: "There's too many fighters ending up with brain damage." 8 ) Floyd: "All this Super Champion stuff , I'm totally against it." The reason I am calling it the Floyd Mayweather Act is because love him or hate him, he actually does seem to care about the welfare of fighters. He has put fighters on ShoBox and I doubt he is making much from that. He has commented on how he makes sure the fighters under his banner are able to pay rent. He has already made fighters throughout the sport call for stringent drug testing. He emphasizes the importance of not taking punishment. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VR41CAY6EoE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhE1qNKBDrc
if you took the time to watch the video interviews, he explains what happens there, he starts talking about it at the beginning of the first video .
Don't have the time. I respect Mayweather as a fighter but don't buy into this 'Savior of Boxing' shite
There's not much good about this man but he did serve some fake ass turkey to the homeless peoples at one time .
Yeah the guy on peds, who cherry picks his fights and wont fight his biggest rival is cleaning up the sport, you vile cretin..
I don't see anything good about him. Smallminded. Think's he understands business & money..but he doesn't really.. if at all.
If I was a ******* i'd say that he won the Third Marquez fight. So no i'm not a ******* dumbass. If you would like to point out why Mayweaher is such a nice good person then go ahead lmao.
Get a grip, idiot. I'm more intelligent than you'll ever be, and that is probably an understatement. :good Don't ever talk about me again or you'll be utterly destroyed like the rest of them. No one out-shittalks me on this forum. I'm 5-0, undefeated. :hi: I went 7 hours straight (9:00 pm>4:00 am) with "Godsavethequeen" and he finally threw in the towel. I'll be sure to give you the same treatment if I ever seen my name come out of your mouth again. :good :vonnecunt:hammertime:bananamaniac
