Now we all saw the ****ing Texas Chainsaw Massacre last night, and it was nastier than anything Leatherface did to poor Sally. But with the revenue gained from this, there is no ****ing way that Oscar is going to leave the sport. He has too much pride and he does have a business to run. But he needs one more, at the Staples Center. Who will it be, the Son of the Legend, or the Pride of Puerto Rico???

After the Holyfield- Valuev fight there should be a retiremnet dinner to honor what Evander, Roy Jones and De La Hoya have done for the sport as a send off to lives as ambassadors of the sport. 2008 saw the end of their great careers.

If he had too much pride he would retire now and not fight on like he wishes he could.

Don't think Oscar will step into the ring ever more, but if he does then Tito is likely to be an opponent

DLH took a beating last night so I'd be surprised if he goes out like that. If he picks a last opponent wisely he can erase some of that embarrasment. He still makes huge money and says part of him wants to go on. I think we will see DLH again. If so I don't want to see him anywhere near someone relevant. I like the two poll choices. Chavez Jr is not in DLH's class at all and even a shot DLH could still win that one and I'm sure it does fine at the box office. Trinidad rematch makes a lot of sense right now. Both are irrelevant to the elite scene but both still pack a big financial punch. If they fought in 2009 it could be the biggest money maker of the year. I'd also add Mosley as a third possibility if he takes a beating against Margorito. If he wins or holds his own with Margorito forget it but if Mosley-Margorito looks like DLH-Pacquaio than a rubbermatch could make sense.

DLH is shot and I wouldn't mind seeing him retire so he doesn't get hurt in the ring. But if he picks someone as faded as him or not in his league to begin with in a farewell sort of fight I can't blame him. Not sure I'll be interested but a lot of people will be.

Oscar de la Hoya is a Former World Champion, Former P4P Champion, and a ****ing 10 time title holder, as well as a RING Champion, and Olympic Gold Medalist. He'd kill my ass inside the ring......in a Boxing Match. Lets come over to MY Playground.

A Cage Fight. Texas Bullrope Match Rules, come as you are, both participants are connected by 25 feet of Bullrope, and there is a sharpened Cowbell in the center. Pimp C and Joel de la Hoya would be ringside, handcuffed together to prevent interference, and Richard Schaefer would be suspended above the ring in a small locked cage. Loser gets his head shaved, a la McMahon vs. Trump!!!:smoke:smoke:smoke

Pacquiao has beaten whatever fight in him was left. Oscar should just be a promoter from now on.
