it wasnt disgrace to Tinidad and it wasnt to Tarver trilogy, not even to Hopkins when most US fans wanted Jones-Hopkins II just a year ago.

Over the 09-06 period, Calzaghe whupped up on Sheika, Brewer, Mitchell, Lacy and Manfredo. If there was another US super middleweight out there during that time frame over whom victory would have significantly enhanced his resume I have yet to see him.

Unfortunate, but typical of a small minority of mypic US observers (like the OP). The super middle division is frequently described as a waste ground by some of these people. It is (or has been until recently) actually one of the most stacked divisions in boxing with Calzaghe, Kessler, Bute, Mundine, Beyer, Froch, Lacy, Miranda etc... all fighting there. Unfortunately, only one of these guys is American so it gets disregarded. Out of sight, out of mind!

But hey then the US makes the best beer and cars in the world.

I think it is wonderfull that you can get beers that tastes just like fruity icetea.
And the cars with the quality interior, and great plastic dashboards. And the huge 5-6 liter engines that produces like more then 200 hp...

    Not the best beers.

And actually not the best cars either...

Americans make the best..... jet fighters in the world!! Yes that is true. The best millitary equipment is largely american. The best movies are largely american (I know many suck and many foreign movies are great or greater but because of the sheer volume I think a top 10.000 would have most american movies in it. Really good music. Great documentaries - national geographic channel is my favorite. And I could go on.. many great american things.

The Germans make the best cars.

The worst team sports in the world are all from the US - why the feck do you need 60 players go play a game of rugby union with forward passes and obstructions permitted, or 20 odd to play rounders??

Hmm.. I think that depends on how you look at it. Americans imo. have the best millitary equipment, not the best soldiers (in general per capita Denmark and Isreal have won more soldier olympic diciplines and jet fighter medals than any other country, but both countries wouldn't stand a prayer against the US total army), but they do overall have the best and strongest millitary.

No army in the world could beat the US army.
