Jeff Lacy went over to the U.K to fight Calzaghe. He wasn't content on feasting on dometic cans

Allen Green was never hyped that much, but ok you can have that.

Codrington took on Green in his 10th pro fight. He might not be as good as people thought, but he wasn't afraid to challenge himself. The same can't be said for many Euro hypejobs.

Grant did feast on chumps. However, he took on Golota and Lennox Lewis. Again, he didn't feast on chumps until he was in his 30's.

Yet you call Lacy a hypejob despite the fact that his only loss was to Calzaghe.

Calzaghe is not a hypejob, he's had a carefully picked list of opposition.

Chad Dawson is a highly skilled young fighter. He beat Harding, he beat Adamek to take his belt(Calzaghe never beat a champion until his mid 30's) and he beat Johnson(a fighter Calzaghe shamelessly ducked)

The U.S generally never cared for the SMW divison. It's a really new division that has served as a stop over for many good Americans. Not coincidently, Euros have sought to be career SMW's

Most of the best fights period are in the U.S

    True.

Pavlik is 25 and has already beat the top fighter in his division. Calzaghe was a paper champ until his mid 30's. Name me a top flight American fighter that won and defended a WBO paper title for 10 years. That would never happen here.
