    There is something touching about seeing the grave of Jess Willard. He really never loved the sport and is mostly remembered for the terribly beating he received by Dempsey ... to see he went on to live for so many more years and died with a loving family behind him has a nice touch of justice to it ...

    I remember reading within the last couple of years that some former Boxers donated money to buy a proper headstone for the great Kid Gavilan.

    Damn shame Gans' grave looks like that, wish I lived near enough to go give it a good cleaning.
