Most mentions here are not arm punchers.
    Galento? Beterbiev? Foreman? Shavers?
    Def not arm punchers.

Manny is probably the best arm puncher.

Shavers is a definite no. If there was one thing he was good at it was shifting his weight. Ive seen footage of nearly every heavyweight champ and nobody quite managed to replicate the way shavers would shift his weight and put EVERYTHING into his punch. He just didnt give a damn and had no fear of getting countered. Hed often throw these big homerun swings that sent his entire body off balance even if he connects with his rear foot in the air.

Maybe thats why he was such a scary puncher: maybe he wasnt the hardest puncher but he thought he was and fought that way. Thats even scarier than someone who has the power but isnt sure of himself.

As for true arm punchers, usually its guys who lack experience and technique. Most elite guys lose that habit if theyre trained properly and develop explosiveness, timing, snap, weight shifting, etc.
