Frazier never shuffled anywhere he was quick into range ,quicker than Marciano.

To throw effective punches from the crouch position you usually have to come out of it . Frazier had 5 inches of reach on Marciano I don't see Marciano throwing punches from a longer distance than Joe and landing them. I haven't mentioned anyone crossing their feet?
To say Marciano wasn't worried about defence just isn't true,if it were the case ,he would not have adopted the crouch position. A kd that didn't actually hurt you? To what are you referring?

Charles is a top 20 heavyweight of all time on most lists. I would say that classifies him as great

NO I think Charles was at his best as a lhvy, but he was still plenty good and its a great win, better than any Mauriello accomplished as is the Walcott win, trouble is that's about it!

Frazier by later stoppage. Anywhere from 8th to 11. Joe was more accurate than Rocky. More precise. I think his consistent body assault pays dividends. He grinds the great champion down into a fine powder. I do believe Charles lands plenty and wins some early rounds. He was better than Ellis though smaller.

Charles defended his title successfully quite well. IDK exactly how many times but it was kind of surprising. He wasn't a spectacular performer but I think I would find him in my top 20 pretty easily. He was Ivan lendl

Did you actually read my post? I don't have anything new to add because I don't feel like you brought up anything new; all you're doing now is saying no your perspective is right. Maybe it's just a failure to communicate but honestly I am having a hard time figuring out what your point is beyond you protesting your rightness. If I missed the mark with this one that's why. I didn't get much beyond no that isn't what that's for and no he didn't have that mentality and so forth.

Bubba like I said I didn't invent the idea of Marciano being offense first I just agree with it. There's no point in telling me no I'm wrong unless you're going to feed me something I might not know. He doesn't sacrifice offense for defense and the crouch isn't an example of sacrificing offense for defense; it adds power. See, does really change anything from the last thing you said to me and my response to it it just repeats it....you just said this to me and I just answered and now we're repeating ourselves in new words....why?

I'm not the first man to point out Marciano covers more distance in his punches then most and specifically Frazier either. I mean I gave you a video specifically about the difference in distance covered by Joe's left hook and Marciano's left hook and you respond with "Frazier had 5 inches of reach on Marciano I don't see Marciano throwing punches from a longer distance than Joe and landing them." Well....I did provide a video showing just that with an ******* to narrate it and everything. It's not my fault you can't see the difference in distance covered between shuffling or proper footwork and taking a step that requires crossing your feet but you can stand up and try it yourself if you like.....what you're arguing is absurd. Take a stance with a lead foot and all. Now put that lead foot out forward as far as you can then bring the back foot up to reform your stance. Now that you're back to your original stance take your back foot and put it out forward as far as you can then bring your lead foot forward and back into the lead position. Which of these two covers more distance? Is it even close? Is five inches of reach not an absolutely ridiculous thing to say to that?

I dunno if you did mention crossing feet, I dunno what that has to do with anything. I mentioned crossing feet, I pointed out Joe's left comes from a shuffle.

KD is short for knockdown Mcvey, you know this.

They are the two who would be the weakest.I think Tunney beats Charles at 175lbs which is probably heresy.
I wouldn't be astonished if Charles beat Frazier ,but I would be surprised.I actually think prime Charles has more chance with Rocky.
