Name me 1 great opponent Floyd fought in their prime. You can't.

So don't say he will never get credit for his opposition.

    He deserves this.

The fighters you think are great were all busy ducking Floyd in their prime...and btw why is their prime such a small window? Basically you believe that their only chance of beating Floyd was during some really small window in their career. I guess their window of prime closed quickly while Floyd's is open forever.

But for the "PRIME ATGs" Pacquiao has beat the window is much more lenient to him.

Lets see. Up to 135 Floyd was BOSS, but still no Barrera, Morales.

140 and up: Williams, Margarito, Kostya Tszu, Martinez.

It was well established that Williams was happy to make welterweight but no PPV guy was interested in giving him a shot. He was the most avoided fighter in boxing at the time.

BS. The man got outboxed by Quintana and needed a rematch. Got put to sleep by Martinez. Let's be real, the guy got fights, but he showed ZERO consistency during the time he could have landed a Mayweather fight. And I liked Williams.

At what point does he get a Mayweather shot? He doesn't, and he never earned it. The guy couldn't put together a string of victories worth while at 147, and that's all there is to it. That, and jumping around in weight didn't help him secure fights.

Corrales and Castillo were in their prime and I think it's fair to consider them great.

A fighter with zero consistency who defeated Sergio Martinez and Antonio Margarito in their primes?

He flamed out young like a lot of fighters do but before that happened he was tremendous and VERY avoided. It was well reported at the time that he struggled to get title shots despite being having a lot of network interest.

Williams was back on track after destroying Quintana in the rematch, the fight was always there for Floyd but he just didn't want it.

he jumped around in weight BECAUSE he couldn't get fights at welter. What was he supposed to do? Fight Margarito again?

Floyd wasn't the only guy who ducked him, no one was interested.

Margarito didn't qualify as a great fight Floyd missed out on. And Pac beating a past it Barrera and Morales wasn't beating either man in their prime. Pac was knocked out multiple times. Anyone who beat him has a great win on THEIR resume lol. Nobody has Floyd on their resume right Pig Puga lol...

I really think Mayweather vs Sergio Martinez could had been made at 154 and Floyd would have actually won. 2011-2012
Martinez back then was as hyped (in the good sense) as Golovkin right now.

I agree with most ppl, he would not been given credit for Margarito and probably neither for Williams, or at least the credit he would deserve.
