I feel it's time for me to start a thread appreciating Floyd Mayweather.

After reading over old threads I've started on Floyd it seems that 90% of them are negative. This has nothing to do with Floyds skin colour or even his garbage personality. The reason I seem to start threads and leave negative comments about Floyd has a lot to do with his fans and their ignorance on the sport of boxing. I also have a huge dislike to boxing fans who are race biased, Floyd fans like to shout racism when they themselves only love black fighters. I have been called racist multiple times because I think non black past fighters like Carlos Ortiz and Ken Buchanan stylistically would give Floyd fits. These idiots don't realise I think Floyd H2H would give most ATG fighter in boxing history a very very hard fight. The only ATG fighters I have watched extensive footage of that I think definitely stops Floyd are prime Leonard, Hearns and Duran. At lightweight I feel Carlos Ortiz, Pea and Ken Buchanan have styles to maybe overcome Floyd on a fair level. If not in their prime or at their best they lose handily to a juiced up Floyd.
I'm not a huge fan of Floyds resume, it is not ATG level but he is a top 30 ATG all the same. His skills are fantastic but maybe a bit overrated by his fans. Historically there have been boxers with better skill levels than Floyd.

Things Floyd does not get credit for.

    1. 'His chin and his recovery levels of a tagged chin.'

Floyd never looks fazed even when he gets tagged flush. Floyd has G level punch resistance and reactions.

    2. 'Toughness and will to win.'

It's getting Floyd in the ring with a fighter with a pulse that's the hard bit. When he is in there with one he ups a level which is very impressive to watch.

    3. 'Ring Strength'

Floyd might have one of the highest ring IQ's ever but he also possesses re**** level strenghth. He is as strong as fvck on the inside. Only top tier ATG inside fighters can better Floyd on the inside.

    4. 'In conclusion'

Floyd Mayweather could have been so much better than he is going to be perceived historically which is a shame. Floyd would have beaten a prime Pac and I think he could beat GGG. He might be a bit old for GGG now but the Floyd of a few years ago imo would have countered and menouvered GGG all night long.

I only hate Floyd's 'TBE' fans, not the great Floyd Mayweather.

He doesn't get enough credit for his IV use. Peps say he was masking peds but the man was severely dehydrated. USADA / NSAC approved the home IV use.

Olympic medalist, 49-0, undefeated for 19 years, titles in 5 weight classes, never been off his feet, beaten more world champions than anyone in the history of the sport. Nothing else needs to be said

Is there controversy? Yep, but if there wasn't he wouldn't be so rich.

If you don't think Floyd if the greatest of all time, just ask him. He'll be more than happy to tell you and anybody else that will listen.
