What the f*ck is your problem with Johnny Lewis... You always start these hate threads on him. The media probably asked him what he thought, and being an Aussie he put forward his support for the Australian fighter. I very much doubt he literally expected St Clair to outbox Kahn.

 

He trains Gairy, what do you expect him to say? Nicest bloke I've met in boxing, bar none. Also, easily the most respected guy in Australian boxing, what's that tell you?

 

I didn't realise that he trains him. That makes this thread even worse. Can you imagine what sort of trainer would come out and say his fighter has no/limited chance of winning?

 

Johnny Lewis is one of the best trainers in the buisness and well respected throughout the boxing world , considering he was working Gairy's corner he would have been shot with **** if he never stated Gairy St Claire was a real challenge to Khan , the only quote i heared him saying pre Khan was Gairy is a delight to work with and he will give Khan a stiff chllenge and the crowd will get their monyes worth out of him ,,Two prediction that came in bang on , Please show me the quote where he said St Claire would beat Khan as i must have missed it , Ps Australia should be 100 % proud of Johnny Lewis and his record . Actually i've been on youtube and the pre-fight conference was full of respect by Lewis to Amir Khan. He supports Gary to win but i don't recall him saying it's 100% certain he will

i grew up kinda worshipping johnny cause my aussie heroes(jeff fenech n jeff harding)were trained by him and he always seemed 2 care very much 4 his fighters...so i dont mind him saying a few funny things...
