Regardless of how they are viewed in terms of greatness right now the fact still stands that as far as anyone can remember they are the first CHAMPIONS who are actively avoided by their top CHALLENGERS.
This alone is very impressive, even if I'm wrong and there is precedent for this, it's STILL impressive and worthy of recognition.

The K bros are victims of their own success...they knockout the up and comers and the hangers on...everyone that comes their way. That way the division looks like crap. But if we look at the careers of those they defeated we can see that they aren't bad, in fact they are good and go on to win unless they are put in retirement by the K-Bros...

We would have had Numerous top ranked fighters and undefeated champs battling and fighting each other for the belts. Instead of running away from the K bros. Blame the K bros for being too good but don't say the division is weak...Without Wlad and Vitali we would have forum after forum praising the division for its strength and competitiveness...

 

If the top 20 contenders would fight eachother, we would be able to gauge how good this era really is or is not. We can't accuratley judge them if the only real test they get is the K bros.

 

People keep saying that it's not the Klitschko's fault the competition isn't great and that they can only beat who is put in front of them, which is fair enough, but lets not forget that Vitali did have his chance to cement a better legacy when he fought a past prime Lennox Lewis, but he came up short.
