Good to see he's given himself plenty of time to get over jet lag.

Hope it's a good fight. I've been harsh on Kambosos but I don't really have anything against him.

We're on the back nine for sure and probably heading for the clubhouse with Loma.

Here's hoping he leaves the Land Down Under with a strap and gets one last unification fight against Tank or Stevenson this fall before he rides off into the sunset (probably mixing metaphors in this post but what the hell.....it's not like any of you illiterate troglodytes would notice).

Lomachenko is one of the best and notable/memorable fighters of this generation. Stop trolling for a reaction.

You are certainly entitled to your own opinion, but I don't agree. He's definitely one of the best fighters of his generation, but -in comparison to his contemporaries and the generation that preceeded his- he has fought in relative obscurity.

I cannot say that I will go back and watch any of his fights, listen to his interviews, or discuss him very much when he retires.

I may troll, but I do it with honesty.

Right,, it's kind of been under the radar but Lomachenko has only had 5 fights in the last 4 years and he's 3-2. While Kambosos isn't near being the skilled fighter Loma is he is a tough guy and should push him. He has a small height advantage and a 3 inch reach advantage but I don't expect that to be a big factor. I'm interested to see this one, could there be an upset? I'd say the possibility exists

I don't think Kambosos has the physical tools or the kind of mastery of space needed to really trouble Loma, unless the Ukrainian has truly aged over night.

Against Haney, Loma displayed (still) elite hand and footspeed and should have earned the decision.

Styles make fights also. I think this is an interesting boxing match up atleast. Kambosos has unbreakable will and self belief mixed with not insignificant ability. Loma is talking near imminent retirement so it will be a privilege to see him fight and what presents itself next week.

That may be your view of Loma ( youre free to have it) but for the rest of us it says more about you than anything else.

I see. So you let others control what and how you think. I tend to think for myself, realizing fans don't speak for boxers. But that's just me.

But I am discussing him with other posters who I disagree with, no? What am I supposed to say to them?

If Loma was portrayed in a way that I see him (another very good contemporary fighter), I would be in agreement.

    But he isn't.

That's not someone else controlling me, it's me simply disagreeing with how he is portrayed, based on what I actually see.
