Meh. You put Jeff Clarke above Sonny Liston. Your ranking system has long shown itself to be highly flawed. I was going to reply and say that you come across as a very immature, very arrogant, extremely stupid (and if there is an underlying medical reason for it, I apologise and rescind all comments), unwilling to learn, unable to learn imbecile but I looked at your post and realised you'd done it for me. Spare us the rambling, pointless, grammarless response. I'm popping you on ignore now as you don't bring anything. I sense you are young and I cannot believe you have wasted three or four days of your youth putting garbage on a forum about a sport about which you appear to know very little. Seriously, mate. Have a word with yourself. I'm only here as much as I have been in the last few days because I'm recovering from an op and I'm middle aged. Get a life.
you cant teach me anything , so this idea I am gonna learn from imbecile is funny. Once I break down the method to how I do things it always ends this way , insults and you dont have time for these convos anymore, This aint my first dance with a dummy(You) when I point out you guys cant understand what you are watching and you guys cant assess boxers without a fair amount of clear footage you folks retreat, I saw this coming goodbye moron, thanks for wasting my time. Jeff Clark over Liston does not sound crazy when you consider beating Langford , Joe Jeannette, battling Levingsky,Kid norfolk Ranks higher than beating a Patterson,Cleveland Williams,Zora folley and eddie manchen lololol.
You g uys h The criticism that Liston placed too much weight on his front foot while jabbing seems beside the point, at least to me. The guy had an 84-inch reach. By putting his weight on his front foot and leaning forward, he was able to extend his reach even more. Opponents would comment afterward that it seemed like that jab exploded in their faces from halfway across the ring. It was a devastating weapon that only one opponent was ever able to counter effectively -- and that was Leotis Martin in a late round when Liston was old, bleeding through the nose and struggling to breathe. To me that's hardly an indictment of his jab technique.
you shouldnt call anyone a bad poster when you are advocating for foolishness, what is one of the key things that is talked about in boxing, BALANCE what happens when your weight is too far forward what do you compromise? BALANCE , you never break balance to hit more effectively , BALANCE comes first its the key for offense and defense. It says more about what kind of boxers Liston was fighting since none of them can take advantage of Listons BALANCE issues. Jesus ****ing christ! you fans, man
I swear if some boxer started cocking back and or winding up their punches and got away with it, you morons would say its not a flawed technique ! cuz no one countered it or they scored knock outs with it or b ecame a champ with it (nvm indicting the opponents who were not smart or skilled enough to punish that!)
This person is more like a comedian than anything else. When I look at his posts in this light it makes me smile, but when I try to take them seriously the hilarity erupts. I've chosen not to block him out of amusement.
you were the dummy in love with joes jab that was blocked 90 percent of the time in the rocky fight correct! your judgment is questionable!
