Reading pre fight from certain sources on here you got the impression that Vitali Klitschko is some form of ageless demi-god, 10 foot tall monster with 2 metre long arms, a ram-rod concrete like jab that could punch through walls, a chin made of pig iron, the speed and reflexes of a gazelle and the aggression of a wounded lion...

... cue Saturday night and we get a man who looked every one of his 40 years old, being hunted down by a 17 fight novice who was coming off the back of a defeat (or win?) from another 17 fight novice in Helenius and a defeat from the flabby, arm punching, equally-as-mentally-unstable-as-Chisora, Tyson Fury.

Yes we can cite apparent injuries that will miraculously heal by the time his next fight is scheduled and other non-excuses but ultimately.... is Vitali overrated? Has his time come?

In the era where an average joe can get a title shot in a heartbeat can the big Ukrainian really be considered an ATG?

in short. no. he's not overrated.

    40. classy. dominant(except in his last fight, where he had an injury, still managed a convincing UD).

Neanderthal Chisora lost 11 rounds to a 41yo, one-armed, shot, mentally disturbed Vitali Klitschko.

An average Joe....like Oscar Bonavena....Sir Henry Cooper.....Chuck Wepner, Jerry Cooney....Ken Norton......or an average Joe like the bum of the month club that Louis and Marciano were fighting?

Or maybe a 6-0 novice turned bum like Leon Spinks or a MW turned HW Champion Michael Spinks. Or maybe a bum like James Smith. Buster Mathis and SON. Peter McNeely anyone. How bout the bread man....Bob Mvrovic. Who was that bum that dropped Tommy Morrison.

Yeah, any AVERAGE JOE can get a title shot....one just fought Banks for his title. His name was Firtha. But I dare say that those 17 fight novices would KO1 Bonavena. KO 1 second Cooper. And Leon SPinks would be KOd in a round by Firtha. So let's not start calling decent HW challengers and potential future title holders average Joes.

By all accounts, Vitali Klitschko did what he had to do against a solid and formidable Derek Chisora. The same Chisora that if he maintains this level of dedication, and gets his head screwed on straight will AGAIN challenge for a title. It might be after the dominators are gone, but it will happen.:deal

Im not a VK, far from it, but on Saturday he showed, he can fight a dangerous opponent and still come out on top despite being in trouble earlier. All this at the age of 40.

However he needs to retire, or somebody is going to get him.
Its only a matter of time, and thats what Vitali doesnt have too much of left.

Haye chatting **** after the fight about how hes licking his lips. Haye fights nothing like Chisora. Haye has a punchers chance thats it

oh hes only 40years old lol, his hardly in hi phsyical prime but still does the job, i mean lennox lewis wasnt in his physical prime when emmanuel steward got hold of him, but still did pretty well. and hes beaten alot of fighters who would beat chisora.

He dominated a good contender yesterday at 40 years of age, that's very impressive.
