Yes, but that slap in the face takes precedence over the fight.
    That was quite a clip.

1 arm. 40 years old. Convincing UD against a guy 12 years his junior.

    Vitali is underrated.

Some nice points well made (apart from the Alt, Brittard playground nonsense)

In fairness I was just trying to stoke up some good clean debate on the issue. Personally I think they guy who said he should now retire is right. He did well to shut Chisora out without doing it spectacularly but I think he did grow slightly old over night at the weekend and could be vulnerable against an opponent with a few more skills and a bit more speed than Del Boy.

I also think Wlad is the no. 1 Klit now for what it's worth but that's another debate I'd wager...

Couldnt it just be that chisora was ebtter than everyone expected, its obvious he has some skills, add 40 year old man, arm injury and you have a good fight.
I still believe Vitali beats anyone in the division except for wladimir, haye has a small chance but he is the only one, for the rest he easily beats all even with 1 arm and and 40+
Also wlad has been #1 klitschko for years now, everyone knows he is better at this point:thumbsup

Vitali has my greatest respect for his professionalism. Unlike these 2 clowns who have let the sport of boxing down - down into the gutter!

Chisora made Vitali look bad but coming forward with good head movement and backing him up. Vitali could not get the jab going and could not punch full power due to this.

At the end of the day it just goes to show how poor the likes of Briggs, Snowski (sp?) and the rest are.

Chisora and Haye are an absolute disgrace.

David Hayes is a big mouth clown - can't be taken seriously as a boxer. He talks a lot but delivers little. Dereck Chisora is just a thug. Both are an embarrassment to British boxing.
Clowns, how dare you bring such shame on the boxing world, but also our country.....

Hardly. I'm getting quite tired of Vitali on this forum. He either gets degraded or given a god like status and there's a certain two quo que to it. No he isn't a top 5 heavyweight in an ATG sense, but it's not like he's a robotic fighter that's only fought nobody's for his whole career with lack of heart. He sits around the low 20s late teens right now but I feel a couple more solid wins would move him up to the top 15 heavyweights of all time. And if you deny that Vitali H2H is a tough match for the likes of Ali, Tyson, Holmes etc then your an idiot.

I used to think he was overrated as well, however i've changed my opinion in the past years.

Vitali's resume was terrible before this weekend and beating a 18 fight novice with 2 losses out of his last 3 fights is no improvement. His best 3 wins are Sanders (who is only considered a good win because he steam-rollered glass-chinned Wlad) and take your pick from any 2 novices/bums/cruiserweights on his resume.

And people say he is dominant :patsch
