Ya I remember , It was huge. I would say that PBF vs Chico was more widely watched and recognized as a big fight worldwide .... outside of hardcore fans and Europeans no one even knew who Kessler or Calzaghe were.

According to who? A small minority of Calzaghe haters? Definately not the odds.

People thought Chico was just too big and would do the same for PBF .... thats why I say these wins are equal in greatness, but I do give a edge to PBF's win because of the manner in which he won.

That's why I said you can make a case for both. Mayweather completely dominated Corrales while Calzaghe who was 35 beat the young Kessler.

May fought a better fighter, and won by a bigger margin, obviously

I dont see how this is even close. Calzaghe's win over Kessler was a 4 star performance, Mayweathers over Corrales was 5 Stars.

no PBF was a -140 favorite...I had 280 to win 200 on him...easier money than buboy in the pie eating contest at pacmans camp....both wins were big...PBF just has alot more big wins than calzaghe,,,and pbf's was FAR more impressive like all his fights...a domination while JC's was more of a dig down deep battle of will

Chico wasnt unproven as one poster stated, he was the fave in the fight he was the ranked higher on p4p lists I dont recall but he was somewhere between 6-8 while floyd was barely cracking the top ten in at 10...Kessler wasnt even in the top 15.

I really dont think its even debatable but I know that Kessler and Calzalghe fans will try and debate it.

They will now you baited them.

The thread question is a good one, and it is close, I give it to PBF for pretty much the same reasons as Mcmanama.

But it isnt just Calzaghe nuthuggers voting for Calzaghe, DINA himself has done, and as you must know he isnt exactly what you would call a fan. Be intresting to see why he did. (Could have hit the wrong option by accident:D)

At this point it isnt debatable seeing that Kessler hadnt done much before and hasnt done **** since...Not to say that Kessler could go on to pile up some great wins...Highly doubtful since he seems to have trouble fighting elite fighters...That is he would much rather fighter second tier guys despite what his fans claim....

I dont think that its close for that reason...Chico was proven class and Kessler isnt, Chico beat p4p fighters and Kessler hasnt. Its really that simple.
