    Big George Foreman (winning again at 45)
    Lennox
    Tyson

    Naz Hammed (bigest mistake he made was leaving Brendan Ingle)
    Durran
    Hopkins ( boring fighter but you have to admire the way he wins)

    In no particular order with exception of Lewis and Vitali who are tied at 10 so I could fit 11 fighters into my top 10 list;

    Ali
    Foreman
    Mayweather
    Pac
    Tyson
    Chavez
    Whitaker
    Hopkins
    Leonard
    Lewis
    Vitali

    And I know I’m missing some greats I’m forgetting at the moment but a few I knowingly don’t have on my list;

    Loma - he’s just entering his prime and he’s already phenomenal, too much time left to judge him now…
    Roy jones - was amazing talent that was way too risk adverse until late in his career…
    Toney - spent too much time wasting his enormous talent not being dedicated
    De la Hoya - was way better than given credit but shortened career from too many wars and partying.
    Duran - No Mas
    Haggler - I just didn’t see enough of him to honestly judge him and put him on my list

    Not really sure how anyone can put Floyd on that list, or mosley for that matter and not have De la hoya listed. If he had gotten the LEGIT W's over Trinidad and Mosley in the rematch his ATG status would be GREATLY elevated, sure he got the L on paper but everyone knows he won those fights. But He fought way tougher opponents than Floyd did while he could have easily taken the safer fights and avoided the best fighters at their best. Look at the kids resume:
    Prime, undefeated Genaro Hernandez (32-0) (Floyd says is own greatest W, after Oscar humiliated him).
    Prime, Rafeal Ruelas (41-1)
    Prime, undefeated Gonzalez (41-0)
    Prime, undefeated Ike Quartey (34-0)
    Prime, undefeated Trinidad (35-0)
    Semi-prime, Pernell Whitaker (40-1)
    Prime, undefeated Mosley ( first fight Oscar did lose by 1-2 points but avenged it in the rematch frustrating the hell out of Shane with his boxing IQ)
    Then you have roided up Vargas, Mayorga, Castellijo, Oba Carr, Jon Jon Molina and don't forget about 96-1 Chavez whose only loss was a few years prior and SD loss which he avenged. He wasn't prime but he was still very active and Oscar goes toe to toe with him in the second fight, beating Chavez at his own game and makes the man quit, which was shocking at the time.
    I think when they robbed Oscar the second time vs Mosley (1st robbery was Tito) I think it messed him up and was probaby where some of the partying starting become more relevant. But the fact that a 7-8 year past prime version of Oscar gave prime Floyd fits. Yea Floyd won the fight, but considering where both me were in their careers, Oscar was the more impressive fighter that night. And when both were fresh, Oscar was winning that fight. It wasn't until he started gassing, his jab started slowing just enough that Floyd was able to counter right over it, that Floyd started taking control of the fight. Its just elementary to believe the version of Oscar from 97-2000ish whatever weight class, would beat Floyd if not KO him considering how well that washed up, slower, no pop left version did vs him.

    Thank you for reminding me of those points, I agree mostly. I’m one of the few who thought old, long past it, Oscar edged prime mayweather but, I know I’m biased against floyd because of his habit of beating women and of his avoidance of the best fighters in their primes. I’m still trying to figure out why ancient Mosely hurt Floyd and then froze the rest of the round.

    But I know how much respect fighters give Floyd…and I know he was an amazing talent even if he chose too often to tell us rather than show us…I too think prime Oscar takes Floyd out but Floyd would have never stepped in the ring with him.

    I also know it’s often overlooked just how good Oscar was.. I think some of it is because of the Robbings you mentioned and the past prime Oscar that came too early and stayed too long.

    I wouldn’t argue putting Oscar on my list, I’m just not sure I trust my biased eyes to take Floyd off. I’m glad I’m not the only one to find Oscar’s name missing from this thread until now is surprising.
