I despise fighters with below average punch resistance, let alone juiced to high heaven ones who've been cursed by the boxing gods with hideous old lady glass jaws who hit the canvas like they've been shot in the face at point blank range with an elephant rifle from innocuous love taps from toddlers.
Round 1- Hagler vs Hearns Round 2- Norris vs Waters Round 3- Gomez vs Pintor Round 4- Foreman vs Lyle Round 5- Vazquez vs Avelar Round 6- Bradley vs Provodnikov Round 7- Yaegashi vs Porpramook Round 8- Saad vs Lopez II Round 9- Gatti vs Ward I Round 10- Corrales vs Castillo I Round 11- Barrera vs Morales III Round 12- Ali vs Frazier III Round 13- Duran vs Leonard I Round 14- Creed vs Balboa I Round 15- Holmes vs Norton
I hope to fill in more rounds later. Nice thread. One that immediately comes to mind is Prince Naseem vs Kevin Kelley round 2.
Eh I wouldn't go that far. I would have Hagler-Hearns based off pedigree but for sheer entertainment... Dempsey vs Firpo, Olivares vs Danny Lopez, Garza-Meza, Pryor-Arguello ect.
Another excellent choice, Rummy! One concept which hasn't been discussed is more along the lines of picking rounds to flow as a whole fight, rather than the best rounds themselves. Going off that and creating a massively dramatic fight, it really opens up the possibilities. For example, you could have Moore vs Durrele 1, or Pacquiao vs Marquez 1 for the first round, and go from there with major momentum shifts and awesome action.
