I agree people often just think of his losses Hopefully you don't think him to be the best heavyweight though.

Sugar Ray Robinson is the greatest in my opinion. He has the record. 175 wins. 109 Knockouts. The the most devastating Welterweight of alltime. Never lost a fight in that weight class. Also one of the greatest Middleweights to ever grace the division. Wouldve won the LightHeavyweight Championship if not for a heatstroke he suffered after dominating Joey Maxim. He also had the skillset and talent that is evident on film. His speed of hand and foot was remarkable. Ali idolized Robinson`s fighting style. But Sugar Ray had something Ali didnot and that was one punch power in either hand. SRR was the most complete fighter to ever box that I know of.
Ismael Laguna was a magnificent boxer. Speaking of SSR's defense, he had to have something on the ball to have so many fights and never really stopped..and don't tell me it was solely because of his ruggedness.
