Carlos Monzon's chin should be considered. He fought 100 fights, was never stopped and was down only 4 times. The shot he took in the 10th in the title rematch against Briscoe would have decked an ordinary middleweight and Bad Bennie would have been champ. Monzon had either a great chin, or a brilliant, underrated and effective defense or both.

There are too many great chins to pick just 1.

Of the little guys, I would rank McCullouch pretty high, at 1 point Wayne moved up a division to 126 & took Naseem Hamed`s punches for 12 whole rds then in his very next fight dropped back down to his best weight of 122 lbs & took prime Erik Morales best punches for the full 12 also.

Both EM & Naz were the No1 boxers in their weight classes at the time & Wayne was never even wobbled.

Naz landed some devastating single shots on Wayne`s jaw where as EM landed 3 times as much, body AND head, combinations & as Larry Merchant says `Morales just landed his sunday, monday & tuesday punches & mcCullouch is right there in front of him throwing back.` Wayne just kept coming despite losing 10 rds to 2 in both fights.

Ps. The Naz fight was **** but check out EM McCullouch if you havent seen it, very good fight & you get to see EM in his prime face his 1st opponent at 122 that `just wont go`..... Amazing durability.

This would be my pick for the best of all time, it's a great, great fight, and in my opinion, two great performances. I watch this fight all the time.

Jones pushed him down. Peter and Johnson kd'd him almost identically. Nonetheless for a middleweight who fought all the way to heavyweight with the number of fights Toney's had, two flash kd's still adds up to a ****ing amazing chin.

its funny the 2 men to stop him were foreman and frazier....foreman is the heavier hitter but didnt look like he was close to dropping him...fight was stopped because the ref thought he was taking too much punishment...however frazier nearly knocked chuvalo's eye out and looked close to dropping him yet didnt have foreman's overall power

reggie johnson's kd of toney was no flash...it was left hook to the chin and toney went down on his ass..the jones kd is an example of flash kd against him

There is a fundamental flaw in regards to the names to be voted on. Missing from the list of candidates is Billy Graham, who was never ko'ed, or even decked, not one time during his entire career.

He was down against other fighters, and stopped by them as well. I wasn't citing the Robinson fights particularly.

The true, TRUE greatest chins of all time are never even floored.

    McCall, Graham, Glen Johnson, Hagler...
