    Discuss.

50/50 fight here ladies and gents, I can see Floyd's defense frustrating the heck out of Ray, can Ray pull this off? Could Floyd get this stoppage via his right hand?

I say Floyd wins, but what say you guys?

A past his prime cotto can put leather on Floyd and bloodied his nostrils. I can't imagine what the Sugarman would do.

To be fair Robinson was naturally bigger than Floyd.
It will be better to mythical matched Floyd with the likes of Duran, Chavez, Whitaker, Pryor, Oscar or Tszyu.

In before the Floyd nuthuggers wake up, get their mom's permission to use their computer, and claim Floyd shuts him out.

Ray Robinson used to fight every 2 weeks and still had enough to go 15 rounds if he had to. He would work Floyd because he just naturally had the stamina. Coming forward for 45 minutes, can Floyd hold his arms up for that type of a beating?
Look at Ray in the 15th round throwing combos. 14:20 mark

Well dude, it's already had six posts and that's more discussion on here than it merits.

We could also discuss another 50-50 fight.

How about Joe Louis v Alfredo Evangelisto

or Tommy Hearns v Paulie Malinaggi ?

    Don't be a smartass, sir.

Floyd Jr is one of the greatest fighters to ever lace up them gloves, a top 5 ATG fighter.

    It's a discussion that's worth having!!

Floyd might be TBE in making money, but Robinson beats his behind.

I think Floyd loses or draws to a prime ODLH, Mosley, Forrest, or Winky. SRL is simply on another level, let alone being bigger, stronger, and just as quick as Floyd. He'd be competitive against SRL, but doesn't have the strength or power to keep SRL off him. Floyd was able to stun and humble Oscar and Mosley, but those 2 primes were back in the late 90's early 2000's, not 2007 or 2010!

    He's not.

I don't particularly care for the dude, but I rank him higher than most, somewhere in the top twenty.

    I have SRR at 1.

Recent boxers (my lifetime) who were greater: Ali, SRL and RJJ.

He also makes my top six slick great skilled legends.

SRR, Ali, SRL, Pea, Roy and Floyd.

To answer your question, same day weigh in (147) I'd take SRR, probably on points.

If it's at 160 and day-before with in, SRR by KO.

Probably Robinson. My money would be on him.

    Strange post.

Of course Robinson can realistically be fantasy matched with Floyd considering he was rated at Featherweight and lightweight before hitting his prime as a welterweight. Robinson was past his best and above his prime weight when fighting at middleweight.

Top 5, is crazy.... Great fighter, but an air of cherry picking to him. Sugar ray is to good in every department. Floyd will be scared to throw even more than usual with his one shot pot shot ****... I could see Mayweather becoming really negative the further the fight goes. Young Mayweather makes a better go of it than the master boxer 6 punches a round welter ive seen, even if he comes in lighter. He was more offensive the lighter he was. Duran leathers Mayweather stylistically...kryptonite like ive never seen for may
