except those cards were BS. That fight wasn’t as close as the cards called it.

I don’t have a dog in this game. I’m not British. I’m not a big Fury fan. But to my eyes, both times I watched it, he cleanly won.

It was. I had it 95-94 for Fury with Tyson winning the 7th round which the knockdown wasn't called. Fury clearly won the 1st, 5th, 6th and 9th. Ngannou clearly won the 3rd, 4th and 8th. 2nd, 7th and 10th were toss ups. Now add another 10-8 round to Ngannou in the 7th.

I had Fury winning by one point against Ngannou. But still that just looks bad on Fury he struggled with Ngannou so much. I still can't believe it lol.

Pacquiao obviously did some big things while green.

Rolly has now held the WBA interim 135 belt, the 140 WBA belt, and now the 147 WBA belt. Last night was the first time he seemed halfway not green.

Rubin "Hurricane" Carter with a record of 12-2 (10) and absolutely no meaningful wins crushes former middleweight World title Challenger (lost a split decision in the Champions hometown) Florentino Fernandez in 1 devasting round. Florentino goes on to ko future light-heavyweight champion Jose Torres soon after.

Hell Packey McFarland accomplished everything he did before the age of 25. He retired green with his Prime still well ahead of him. His fiance wore the pants in that one and made him hang up the gloves for good. The power of the P got him

Excellent call ... for much of the bout a true novice n short term notice gave one of the greatest fighters of all time in that fighter's own prime living hell ....

SRR was beating vastly more experienced world champs like Zivic & Angott w/in his 1st yr or 2 as a pro.

Ezzard & Bivins both beat Burley (among other notable wins) @ very early stages of their careers.

Bat Battalino beat ATG Panama Al brown & won the fw title only about 20 fights into his career.

Fidel LaBarba had a 3 fight series w/ McLarnin right @ the outset of his career & then won the fly title before giving it up to attend college.

Billy Soose basically had an entire career while green.

I think you’re way off … Francis won the night by going the distance strong and the knockdown but Fury clearly won the fight. I also feel both Usky fights were exceptionally close and talk of Usky winning big is absurd …

James Scott beat up Eddie Mustafa Muhammad (aka Eddie Gregory at the time) in his 14th fight when EMM was ranked No. 1 at light heavyweight. And beat Yaqui Lopez in I think his 19th.

The win over Eddie was just his third fight after a three-year layoff related to his incarceration in Rahway NJ. He had no amateur career that I’m aware of, but probably some prison ‘smokers’ that didn’t have sanction and thus aren’t on his record. IIRC, he learned to box in prison during a previous stint behind bars.

15 fight novice Tim Witherspoon almost beating prime Larry Holmes. His only notable opponent before Holmes was fringe contender Renaldo Snipes.

Wilfred Benítez was 17 when he won the Lineal Welterweight Title from Antonio Cervantes. 17 is pretty green age wise.

You sound like a Fury fanboy then. Usyk won clearly even tho the fights were competetive at some stretches.
