What would've been the greatest fight of all time?

This is open for interpritation a bit, depending on what you consider a great fight. Would it be an all-out war, a tactical affair, or is the event just as important as the fight itself?

So, what, in your opinion, would have been the single greatest fight of all time?

    for me it already happened
"The War" Marvin Hagler vs. Thomas Hearns
It had Agression, Blood, Power Punching & ended the way it was supposed to
someone getting KTFO. as billed perfect fight.

My top 3 that I've seen in its entirety are:

    Diego Corrales-Jose Luis Castillo I
    Muhammad Ali-Joe Frazier III
    Matthew Franklin-Marvin Johnson I

Im not gonna lie, the only fight that really gives me that huge rush every time i watch it is Castillo-Corrales I

PS I think Ali-Frazier III is one of the most overated fights of all time. two washed up fat fighters going at it. Ali Frazier I NOW THATS EXCITING

    Duran-Pryor, could you imagine it?

BTW, i dont think Cotto-Marg will fail to be a modern-day classic, im hopeful. Marg has fast become my favourite active fighter, not because i think he's a world-beater or anything, im just in awe of his savagery! I really cant wait to see it

Cotto-Marg could turn out to be an ATG fight.

Yeah, I don't like those brutal wars like Mayweather-De La Hoya and Hopkins-Eastman.

I like those tame, tactical fights like Carbajal-Gonzalez I and Bowe-Golota II.

I think it'll be a good, not great fight.

Probably because I feel it's in Cotto's best interest to use the ring and be more conservative.

And I think he'll do it well for large stretches of the fight.

Its possible, i think Cotto is a good/very good boxer but not a great one, his defense isnt the best but his jab is top-notch imo. Against Marg he may have to fight considering these factors, maybe? And Cotto possibly is a great FIGHTER, or could one day prove so. You have an immensely strong guy with good skills against an absolute savage! Cant wait, hope you're wrong and it is great, you may e right though.

Matthew Franklin-Marvin Johnson I Nontitle fight
    needs more coverage

As soon as Marvin won the title, he purposely wanted to
fight the guy who had beat him earlier. Unfortunately, the
second fight was as brutal and Saad won that won too and
    took Marvin's title.

Good ol' CBS Sports Spectacular bringing us the great
    free fights.
