The American authorities would not have allowed Scott to fight for the Title. Shame because it would have been a fabulous fight.

Monzon v Saad. Carlos always refused to move up even though he struggled to get the paydays that came with credible opponents.

Morales vs marquez.... ****in no idea!

Hatton vs Cotto at light welter

    Tyson vs tua

    Martinez vs golovkin

Hamed vs marquez... I'd have loved to see this... I'd take marquez all day but I can easily see a good 8 knockdowns in this fight

    Tszyu vs mayweather

I'll probably add to this later

    Mike Tyson - Riddick Bowe

Tyson reffered to that in some interview i watched years ago, saying they came both from Brooklin NY and he would never fight Bowe because he sees him as friend or brother. Would've been an interesting fight for sure.

Can't see any version of Iron Mike beating the Holyfield-beating Bowe. Mike was a top ten ATG (and overall a markedly greater fighter), however his height, short arms and mid-range proficiency would count against him with Bowe. Bowe had one of the division's greatest jabs, not to mention a near-Foreman level uppercut, plus he was REAL good at bullying smaller fighters (check out poor Herbie Hide...ouch).

Though it's conceivable a prime Mike would have knocked Bowe down (the latter always took WAY too many punches, especially compared to Mike's underrated defensive skills), Bowe would have frustrated the hell out of Mike with the jab and the uppercut would have spelled his doom.

I believe 90s Mike would have been taken out even faster by a peak Bowe. That said, post-Gonzalez Bowe would have been beat by ANY version of Mike.

Just for fun, and of course this is only just my opinion.

Good post, but 2 points. Would you rather have seen Shavers vs Frazier over Norton vs Frazier? Or Shavers vs Foreman?

And when would Tyson be prime and able to face Lewis? When Lewis was green and straight out the Ams?

Shavers vs Frazier over Norton vs Frazier? Or Shavers vs Foreman?

Don't much care for Shavers vs Foreman as I do Norton/Frazier.

Think either one of those two match ups would have been good stylistically, and given the dimensions of each, specifically frazier vs shavers, two shorter guys slugging it out... would have been explosive fight even though frazier can be a bit of a slow starter at times.

And when would Tyson be prime and able to face Lewis? When Lewis was green and straight out the Ams?

Yeah I mean Tyson was prime in the 80s, at least mentally. But by 2002 he was an absolute ghost of himself, even though his ghost could whoop a lot of asses Lennox wasn't one of them.

1992 to 1996 Tyson would have been fair for Lennox, rather than 89 LOL

I see prime Mike taking pre-Steward Lewis out. Post-Steward Lewis...Mike might get a lucky ko, but mostly I see even a prime Mike getting frustrated and either quitting or getting stopped in 10.

Frazier - Norton - I would have favored Joe in this one, but a solid fight
Foreman - Quarry - Jerry surprised sometimes (e.g. Lyle, Shavers) it would have been an interesting fight.
Coetzee - Holmes - Coetzee had the perfect style to beat Holmes. Larry chickened out by using the Apartheid cr@p against Gerry.
    Foreman - Shavers - BOOM
Duran - Pryor - Roberto signed a contract to fight Aaron, the latter did not.
RJJ - Darius - No excuse why this was never made
    Calzaghe - Ward - ditto
    Calzaghe - Froch - ditto
Ottke - Hopkins - shits and giggles
RJJ - Steve Collins - Collins begged to fight him, Jones refused

Ike Ibeabuchi vs. any of the top guys in the 90's and early 2000's. For me, he is the biggest enigma in a fantastic era.

Would love to see a @Rumsfeld 30+ minute special on his brief career.
