OK Fat let me see your proof that Margarito EVER had or even tried to have loaded gloves. C'mon Ive asked everyone else the CSAC, the POS who's lies started this whole affair Richardson included NOT ONE of them would come out and actually say " Antonio Margarito had loaded gloves" They couldn't & they know it. Both Paul Williams & Sergio Martinez spoke up on behalf of Tony saying they didnt notice any thing wrong he was just a hard puncher. Pac man said after their fight that Margarito hit him harder than anyone ever had before. Floyd was TERRIFIED of Margarito Just watch the video on You tube The "loaded gloves" BS is a great excuse though for all those heroes of yours that didnt have ther balls to fight him

Agree 100 % here Ike's biggest mistake was calling that lying hooker in Vegas who claimed she only came to DANCE for him ROFLMAO.
I firmly believe he was the natural successor to Lennox Lewis. A fight between those two both in their primes would have been a classic barn burner. Would love to see Rummy do one of his specials on Ike too

He's a bigger man, but is he really that huge in comparison? Marquez is bigger than Pac and Pac handled Mosley easily, granted that was Mosley like a decade removed from his best, but yea, it was surprisingly easy in any case.

Mosley has a 2 inch height advantage and a very big reach advantage. But frame wise Marquez is as wide and sturdy as Mosley. Ever seen Marquez's back and shoulders? They're massive for a guy who made Featherweight as long as he did. Hell, he may even have a broader frame than Mosley. Look at how Mosley actually looked at 135 and compare that to Marquez at 126.

At Welterweight they both had roid back, especially Mosley. He looked like he was going to take off and fly.

I guess you have a point, you have a credible opinion that could be true. I'm not gonna argue, you have a valid point. The thing that makes me agree with this is cotto was getting treated in the rematch= pretty much the same way as the first fight. It's a good thing he did surgery on that eye with his gloves. PS, are you calling Floyd a wussy lol?

Right. Weaver stopped Coetzee. Holmes knocked Weaver silly.

Snipes beat Coetzee. Holmes knocked Snipes silly.

    Obvious duck.

If you follow the sport, A beating B who beat C does mean A can beat C. 'Styles' was the key word you failed to absorb.

It was a much talked about matchup at the time and Larwry pussed out by using the apartheid excuse.

LOL Yeah as far as Antonio was concerned Floyd was literally terrified of him. When Floyd saw what Tony did to Cotto both him & Oscar suddenly lost interest. As for the cotto II fight Tony had only one good eye from round 2 The doc knew that but wasnt interested in stopping the fight until cotto started to fade same as fight 1 only then did he step in & say he was stopping the fight because Tony couldnt see out of one eye. If that was true why didnt he stop the fight earlier ?? That doc stopped the fight to save Cotto the embarrassment of quitting AGAIN!!!

Holmes would have stopped Coetzee faster than Weaver. He didn't duck anyone, he beat future champions like Weaver, Witherspoon (a two-time heavyweight champ), Smith, and Berbick. He beat top contenders like Snipes, Cobb, LeDoux. Jones, Cooney, Williams. The ducking thing seems kind of dubious.

But hey, all respect to what you think and I should tell you I'm biased (Larry is my favorite fighter).

    Gamboa vs. Juanma.
Arum let it simmer a bit too long. He should have used a pressure cooker.

RJJ vs Lennox Lewis after RJJ beat Ruiz and after Lewis beat Vitali. That would have been epic.

I'm gonna have to agree to disagree lol. Manny Pacquiao fed that eye up. Miguel went in there with the intent to bash that eye. The doctor actually said he stopped the fight late, meaning there was like 3 rounds before that he coulda stopped it. But he ultimately said Margo had no peripheral vision and has a concern for his safety. But then again this doctor was specifically brought in to take care of that already fractured eye.

This I can agree with you, under championship fight standards, you always give the leeway to the champ, it's a prize fight for crying out loud. A real champion like margarito was willing to die in that ring. He should have been allowed to fight until a natural stoppage, and there should be a silent rule in boxing to bluff the doctor by tapping on your boxers leg the same amount of times you tap as how many fingers were holding up. My 2 cents, Manny really did do the groundwork to f up Margo's future, but smoger said there was a silent hardship in the air until he told Tony it's a new fight u give you all the credit. That calmed him down before the fight but after the fight he had no choice to stop it.

Again to agree with you to show I'm not a nut hugger for cotto and Pacquiao, Shane beat margarito up with a different plan. He punched the puncher and had a great great great defense. Something cotto didn't have. So yes to beat Tony you need to employ that kind of game plan: not really getting hit.
