Ezzard Charles would be my pick by the way.

How is Archie Moore on your list and not Ezzard Charles. Charles is very likely the greatest LHW of all-time. He beat Moore, and would beat pretty much everyone else on your list.

Ezzard Charles or Roy Jones... I'd give the edge to Charles though.

I'm not overrating Moorer, I just think he could beat Foster H2H. Foster's greatest assetts at LHW were his size, power, and durability.. all things that Moorer matched him at LHW and surpassed him at HW.

Foster's skills could've also played a hand in his success. Moorer's lack thereof would hinder him in a fight with Foster and most every other great LHW. He was a better HW, regardless of consensus opinion.

Moorer was a tall power puncher with a good southpaw jab. He was very basic funamentally though, and able to be out-muscled rather easily. Foster, while lanky, was much better in close, as he was able to unleash his killer left hook perfectly. Moorer on the other hand was out of water when un-allowed his space to follow up his jabs with a straight left. His game was very limited. Useful against the hapless opposition he dominated at LHW(though he had a few very lackluster performances where his weaknesses were exposed, such as against Leslie Stewart and Frankie Swindell), but against the elites you can rest assured he'd have been exposed on a grander scale.

Foster would've taken him out in close or at range. Out of curiosity, how much of Moorer have you seen at LHW?
