    Louis-Schmeling II??

I see this getting mention. A great 1 round blow out sure, but a great fight no way. Schmeling only landed 1 mere punch while Louis kick Max's teeth in, not to mention his ribs. I think the first Louis Schmeling fight was ten times better than the one sided rematch. Its was much of a great fight as Tyson Spinks is consider a great fight imo.

Great 1 round blowout knockout. But hardly a great fight like Ali Frazier or Marciano Walcott. Hell I even put Dempsey Willard over Louis Schmeling II.

Holyfield has been part of some of the greatest fights and infamous moments in boxing history. The chance something outrageous could happen should be considered in all H2H fantasy fights.

Frazier vs Ali I - No matter how many times I watch it I can not believe my eyes.
The two of them at their best. I would argue is the greatest single sporting event of all time.

Marciano vs Walcott I - The fight story line is better than any movie, Rocky pulls victory from defeat's jaws.

Louis vs Schmelling II-Maybe Boxing's most trancendent.

Ali vs Foreman- more about the event than the surrel fight itself.

Bowe vs Holyfield II - kind of like the movie "Indiana Jones" but with boxing.

The Fight of the Century March 8th 1971 was the greatest ever heavyweight fight in my,and anybody elses, lifetime. More than lived up to the hype which was phenomenal in itself. Being an out and out Ali fan,I was upset the day afterwards, but this was THE fight.

Ali-Foreman was my FAVOURITE one as far as the emotional impact it had on me goes, but the FOTC was the BEST.

The buildup certainly was. It was a great fight no question.

Was the fight itself greater than their battle in Manila? I dont think it was. Joe borderline dominated the 1st fight after the first few rounds.

It was a historically significant night but in a pure boxing sense I would put it in the top 10 maybe top 5.
