it was like something out of a movie, its was far from the best fight ive ever seen, it was far from the best round of Boxing ive ever seen. But from the knock down to the end of the round was pure magic. Im so glad i chose to watch that live in the middle of the night. The whole awful card was worth it for that last fight and in particular that last round. It was a magical moment with Wilders reputation and Fury on his back in the crucifix position i really did think well thats that, and then he rose, like the undertaker and then taking it to Fury, its at the very least my moment of 2018. But i think it will go down as one of my favourite moments ever. I think ive now seen that fight 3 times start to finish. I think ive seen the 12th round 50 times.
Reading your post just gave me goosebumps. I was at these two fights. October 04 at the Garden for Tito’s comeback fight. No one knew if Mayorga could stand Tito’s power at 160. He seemed confident early on though...letting his hands go those first few minutes. Then, end of the first round...Tito throws 3 or 4 or 5 of his heat seeking missle left hooks and this crazy son of a ***** is standing in front of him dancing??? The Garden erupted! It was wild. And Morales-Pacquiao 1 was simply the most high level, evenly matched fight I’ve ever seen in person. Can’t say enough about both those fighters and the mettle they demonstrated that night. What an amazing display of skill, heart, toughness and competitive spirit.
Some of the most memorable; KTFO6 Chavez coming from behind to stop Taylor. Holifield beating Tyson---No one as ever looked as hyped for a fight during the ringwalk as Holifield did that night. Barrera beating Hamed. Arturo Gatti/Mickey Ward 1 ---A goosebump fest.
In a way...nothing comes close. The heavily hyped Olympic gold winner-cum-professional con man Fraudley had previously repeatedly been visibly ROCKED and ALARMED by light hitting part timers. HELLO?? Those were warning signs which were impossible to ignore....except to the GJD (Glass Jaw Deniers). Leading Original esb Chinchecker Zakman predicted Fraudley's hilarious downfall vs Sprott as if it were tomorrow's sunrise. And yes, the deniers didn't like it; certain people get upset when they hear the truth. I'm not even ashamed to admit that when watching live on itv in the uk - despite the commentary of voice of a trainspotter John Rawling - to losing all self control and clapping like a ret@rded seal whilst making noises only comparable to those of an infantile chimpanzee when Fraudley dropped to the canvas, flat on his back. Whilst KTFO his right hand was now gently c0cked ffs...ie."this was my destiny, I can now relax..." It was beyond priceless. The only drawback was itv's lack of camera angles due to their crappy low budget production. Fraudley had talked the talk...and talked the talk. However, GJF's (Glass Jawed Fraud's) will ALWAYS be exposed in boxing. IT IS INEVITABLE. ...In stark comparison, Tyson Fury's recent instinctive biblical display of Rising From The Ashes with 1 second to spare vs devastating swinger Wilder (who - when green - had knocked Fraudley silly in seconds) exemplified the difference between a true bona fide fighting man and an abysmal GJF. One can only hope Fury's jaw doesn't betray him in future bouts vs Wilder & Joshua - who in reality aren't fit to lace his boots up. It would be a travesty. "Conditioning and focus....x 2" ...To be fair, an injury-debilitated Harrison scored a dramatic, last-minute 12th round one-punch revenge KO of Sprott in a rematch. That at least showed some character of nice guy Audley. And yes, Fraudley may be Sky Sports' Prizefighter king... But let's be honest, this was all strictly domestic-level conflict; Fraudley p*ssed away whatever respect he had with his disgraceful "one jab" challenge against fellow Brit & WBA titlist David 'The Toe Faker' Haye. "I could spit..." ...Just my 10 pence worth.
