based on record of success against quality opposition. Here are his most significant victims, in reverse chronological order...

    Manny Pacquaio,57 - 5
    Miguel Cotto, 37-2
    Shane Mosley, 46-5
    Juan Manuel Marquez, 50-4
Ricky Hatton, 43-0 if you consider Hatton to be significant, that is.
    Oscar de la Hoya, 38-4
    Zab Judah, 34-3
    Sharmba Mitchell, 56-4
    Arturo Gatti, 39-6 (meh)
Jose Luis Castillo, 46-5 (twice in a row)
    Jesus Chavez, 35-1
    Carlos Hernandez, 33-2 (meh)
    Diego Corrales, 34-0
    Carlos Rios, 44-2

There are many more victims that have good records that I am not too familiar with.

Just my opinion, and you know what they say about opinions.

How many were well past prime? Fighting above their best fighting weight?
Not very good at all, just exciting?
