Here is my new top 3.

    1) Sam Langford
    2) Hank Armstorng
    3) Harry Greb

But I think it might be wrong. Sugar is at 4 - down from 1. I'm so confused these days.

Whitaker was placed as the 10th greatest fighter of the last 80 years by Ring magazine. Thats a generous placing, and can't argue with it myself.

    I can't agree with him being #1.

Willie quit in the ring and took a dive, breaking two of the cardinal sins of consideration for top spot, let alone his resume doesnt warrant a ranking in the top ten

Just the one my friend. Might warm up, we'll see. As you know, i'm having real trouble with the guys Sugar DIDN'T fight. Freakishly, I might still have Sugar at 1 at MW because i'm so mad for H2H when I'm doing a division rating.

    :huh

    Jesus.

If (a big if) you have Robinson at no.1 at WW then you would have Robinson as your top fighter in two of the original 8 divisions and only ranked 4th. Out of curiosity where do you rank the fighters above Robinson in there respective divisions

...i guess I do have Robinson at #1 for the Welterweight division. What a pisser.

I don't want to talk about it.

Show me your top 5, maybe that would help.

I have a phobia of lists. The thought of trying to justify in my own mind why one fighter is higher than another just pisses me off, like for example my top 175lb'er for H2H is Gene Tunney, but he wouldnt actually garner a place in my top 5 overall at 175.

It amazes me how people can construct top 100 lists (Tbooze, take a bow) when I'd struggle to come up with a top 5
