    The universe might explode if Atlas had real high level success with more than one fighter, who also showed more heart before and after his time with the "great motivator" in Atlas.

    Definitely take out the immensely overrated Teddy Atlas, and Buddy McGirt.

    Ray Arcel was a terrific trainer. So was Gil Clancy.

    Teddy Atlas has trained 17 world champions but I probably should have put Arcel rather that Mcgirt though

    Stop reading inaccurate articles (where that 17 world champ came from, I remember a thread on that) and look at his track record.

    Atlas's track record as a pro trainer is not very good.

    His shining moment is blown out of proportion by people who fail to watch the fight in full and look at the fighter's career before and after Atlas.

    also

    Rafael Marquez, Juan Manuel Marquez. Also he builds guys from the bottom up which is not all that common. Maybe not the greatest but certainly up there and often overlooked in these threads.
