The greatest trick Floyd ever pulled was convincing us he can be called The G.O.A.T. without fighting the best of this era

Here we go again. Floyd is picking on a "smaller" fighter. It's like what Nazim Richardson said. The minute an opponent believes they'll win because they're bigger, is when they will get their ass kicked (against Pac-man)!

Floyd never won a fight in his life by being "bigger." Skills wins fights and that's how he does it.

People only say it because it's Floyd. If he beats the #2 and #1 fighters in the world back-to-back, it will be called "cherry picking." Now if Pac did that, he'd be called the greatest thing ever! Anyone else too!

    Good Post Man.
But Pacquiao has the ability to to prove us wrong time and time again.

I noticed that one of the skills that was left off Mayweather's list was "too much chin". What might happen if Pac lands a clean solid shot on Mayweather's chin? Will he smile it off as he did against JMM or will his "too much defense" and "too much reflexes" deem Pac's speed, awkwardness, unpredictability and power completely moot for 12 rounds? Do you really think Pac won't land one significant punch the entire fight and if he does do you really think Mayweather would escape unaffected?

I think you're absolutely correct about Floyd looking for the short cut to the top and avoiding the seemingly harder challenges and waiting for PAC to do it, but there is no doubt Floyd would have probably beaten those other guys as well. Probably close compettive fights, non the less anther "W" for Floyd. But you're very much underestimating Manny and what he'll bring to the ring on March 13th. Floyd is all that you say he is but when you compare the attributes of Manny you'll see many of the same qualities in natraul ability, talent, speed and reflexes. PAC has a more dynamic offesnive portfolio....Flyd has a more polished Defense and both will bring their best to the ring in order to over come the obstacles their opponents present.

Floyd will probably win....but best believe it will NOT look easy. It will look like PAC won by post fight pics due to the damage PAC inflicts on Floyd for the first time in his career....but I feel Floyd with his style and ability to adapt will pull out more rounds to get the nod.

Speed is questionable and I'd give the edge to PAC....PAC should also have the advantage in stamina. But agree with the others.

I like Pac, he has put the sport on his back, with all the big stars gone (Tyson, ODLH, RJJ) Its great to have someone keep the sport in the limelight but i really don't see him beating PBF unfortunately.

Granted Pac has gotten better in the last few years, i just keep thinking about how Morales and JMM were beating on Pac and how May utterly dominated JMM in a shutout.:deal I wish I could think otherwise:bart

first May made JMM fight on the front foot, something he is not comfortable at. Just consider this......you have both guys who are best counterpunching. One is young, faster, bigger, longer, better chinned. Logic dictates that if they are equal in skills, then the fighter with physical advantage should win. You got the reality that the bigger, longer fighter fought where he is most comfortable at, while forcing the smaller counterpuncher to be the agressor. He was also using his reach to keep the fight at the distance, along with those wonderful elbows and forearms.

Another factor is that to be effective agressor, you must have the power to make your oppenent respect you and be on defensive, cover up and be more picky in his countershots. Floyd was never hurt, even when those times he was caught flush. If you cannot make your opponent go out of his comfort zone, you are a dead meat. Or rather a dead flab in case of JMM.

I been saying this all along, Floyd cashing in on gold, without taking damage, set to make 23 mil guaranteed and can get up to 40 mil. Floyd's NEVER produced on his end in the ring, all he got is his "0" and his talent. Fq'em man, he doesn't deserve this pay day.
