Yeah, I thought of Margarito as well but if all he is going to do is get hammered in the ring... that bit is going to get old real quick. He was brutalized in 3 out of his last 4 fights. Honestly though, he shouldn't change too much. He is marketable the way he is. He looks like he is in good shape, he has heart, he is a good trash talker, and plays the bad guy very well. He needs to start knocking guys out again... but who can he brutalize anymore? Not Mosley, Pacquiao, or Cotto... not even Roberto Garcia. If he could beat about 4 or 5 bums in exciting fights over the next 12 months it would do his career well. ESPN FNF type of fights. His eye needs to heal first. So, how good could Margarito be in the future? If he is going to continue he should stay at 154. Maybe he could beat a few guys who have no chance of even lasting the distance, then fight guys like- Erislandy Lara- he lost a MD to Paul Williams and drew with Carlos Molina Carlos Molina- he drew with Erislandy Lara and decisioned Kermit Cintron Kermit Cintron III- he was stopped by Margarito twice but what if Margarito had loaded gloves? Paul Williams II- he beat Margarito by close decision the first time, they both are looking to rebuild their careers at this point Angulo... it just seems right if Margarito isn't washed up
