Key word is "last year". Haye made a fair bit of money too you know and FYI has been reduced to fighting as a cripple to pay for his divorce settment recently. I don't need to remind you of the type of money Mike Tyson, Holyfield and Manny made and lost either do I?

Eddie and AJ had/have this plan where he keeps fighting has-beens and dwarves, milks the football casuals and gets endorsement after endorsement for year upon year. Fury coming back threw a spanner in all this and personally pissing Wilder/Finkel by labelling as liars and crooks caused an even bigger one.

Oh yes it seemed so funny at the time didn't it, the Essex wideboy pulling "Shirley Winkle's" pants down on IFL, not so funny now Warren and Winkle have joined forces to shut Matchroom out.

Will be a lot harder to keep those fans and the board of directors of Lucozade happy if he is widely perceived to be taking the public for a ride. Which will happen if Fury and Wilder meet.

If you didn't already know this is a hot topic in boxing at the moment. I didn't create the video just reposting since it covers the facts.

My threads cover a range of different topics regarding many other fighters.

There is no need to take things personally as if I'm criticizing your partner.

Hearn will be laughing at this. His man earned $47m last year, more this no doubt and fights in front of 90k crowds on PPV. He's about to fight the world number 3, as he did in his last fight. He's in a different league.

Gymbot this is a boxing forum do you understand??

If a fighter turns down a record breaking purse it is going to get discussed. Especially since it is the reason why Fury has had to step in and salvage the reputation of the UK by getting a deal done with Wilder within 2 days.

Allow me to provide you with a disclaimer. - if you don't like hearing the truth, don't read my posts.

If AJ doesn't fancy it for whatever reason then so be it, i would not call the man a coward.

Many fighters greater than Joshua have sometimes never fancied it, Tyson ducked Holyfield for years but i wouldn't label him a coward would you?
At some point in there careers they "Will" fight each other, at the moment too much is put on the "0" and one has to go BS, this tactic has been used for decades to get the less clued up in to paying more for it.

This will be a good fight whenever it gets made, and at some point it will regardless of which "0" goes first, personally i can see AJs going and very soon.

Wilders team turned down 2 offers due to them wanting more money despite the offers being numerous times of what Wilder has ever earned previously.

Matchroom turned down one offer as AJ stated previously he didnt want the unification fight to take place in America but in the UK for his fans.

This hardly comes across off as a act Cowardice on AJ's part, more of greed on Wilder's team part.

Like the other poster said the ring doesn't stop a fighter from being a coward.

As for the Tyson avoiding holyfield_ yes he ducked him until a later time and maybe that was due to him not feeling he wasn't ready.

However Mike never attempted to character assassinate Holyfield and claim he was the reason why the fight wasn't happening while hiding behind his promoter.

If AJ had kept with his original story that he just didn't feel ready for Wilder due to having less fights then I'd doubt there would be an issue.

But to lie and attempt to discredit another party who actually does intend to fight is not only dishonest it's cowardly.

And what is the age old fate for the fearful one?

“A coward dies a thousand times before his death, thou the valiant taste of death but once.

No champion agrees a flat fee in a unification bout. It's unheard of.

This has been discussed and covered a million times over and we know for a fact Hearn kept changing the offers by putting in more impediments to put Wilder off from agreeing, even after he did agree.

The goalposts kept changing. Look at the insulting terms and conditions in those flat fee offer and you will see for yourself that no self respecting professional, businessmen or champion would accept the ridiculous offer expecting Wilder to wait a year, no rematch but AJ does, no percentage but Hearn and AJ receive all profits.

These type of offers in boxing are regarded as duck contracts in order to save face amidst public pressure and make it seem you want the fight when evidently the terms are purposely unattractive to discourage the other team from agreeing.

Not once did Hearn meet or come any close to the terms Wilder asked. Initially he only wanted the same 60/40 percentage Parker received.

Then Hearn lied and said Wilder wasn't a big enough name to offer such terms and would need to go through Dillian Whyte first with no guarantee of fighting AJ afterwards.

There's more scams they pulled but it's been done to death until only the die hard casuals are left who believe anything that comes out of AJ/hearn.

    Everyone else considers them cowards.

AJ’s next fight should be beating the **** out of Hearn.
Warren, Fury, Wilder, Finkel, all just made AJ and Hearn look ridiculous.... and rightfully so don’t waste people’s time if you want to make the fight then make the fight. Now the winner will have more status then AJ because Fury really is the man who beat the man and Fury is to be commended for his competitive spirit and confidence in himself...
    Respect to him!!

78 humps photos of Wilder, hes just a dribbling goon. Joshua offered too little, Wilder asked for too much. What ever, get over it, they have gone their seperate ways for now. Neither men are cowards.

Fury and Wilder, Warren and Finkel are all quick enough to shout from the roofs about how easy the deal got made and how honest people each other are but considering they were all so vocal about Joshuas contract they are certainly keeping quiet about their contracts for this fight. I hear a rumour that there is a rematch clause for Wilder only and that Fury is getting naff all money wise. Not that i care what they get but laughing off Joshuas 15 million offer and then getting 2 against Fury still doesnt completely wash with me.

its all about money not about cowardice

if wilder was earning 25million a fight and joshua was earning 1.5 million a fight then joshua would be clammering all over for a piece of the money pie.

its not as if wilder is any different
he gets paid 8 to 10 times what he pays his opposnnts as a general rule.
