The last few sentences had me laughing out loud.

Surely theres a rematch because financially it makes sense and although you are right the cleaner and effective shots were coming from Floyd, Maidana was still in the fight most rounds. I didn't have Maidana winning more than 4 rounds. but the rounds were close.

Not sure how you had Canelo winning so many rounds against Floyd. To me the fight was not competitive.

It's not wrong if it's transparent...clearly you're latino of some origin, probably mexican american...those are the only people in the world who think the lara-canelo verdict was fair or that canelo should have gotten a draw with floyd...lemme ask you this...since JCC sr got a draw with sweet pea whitaker, do you then assume that a credible argument could be made for chavez getting the decision win in that fight?

He ducked em right after he damn near killed williams. Martinez had workrate, reach, a good jab, footwork and best of all the awkwardness of his style. The best ducker didnt want it just like he didnt want it with williams. And im talking about Martinez pre chavez.

Martinez offered to go down to 150. The Best ducker actually mentioned Martinez and once Martinez layed pwill out he went silent. When pressed about the issue yesrs later he ducks the question entirely by saying he has a fighter by the name of andre dirrel who would match up great against Martinez.Quack

Floyd was staying against the ropes 10 years ago.

    It can't be about age.

Maybe he likes to fight off the ropes...he's the best at it by far.:deal

Watch some fights if you don't believe me.

You need to improve your reading comprehension. I said Canelo vs Floyd was pretty much even/close for 11 rounds, but Floyd won one round big. My issue with that fight was the catch weight, not the scorecards. The scorecards of the actual fight were fine, but everyone in the media was up in arms about the draw and it was a sight to behold. I admit I am in the minority in agreeing with the judges in Canelo - Floyd, however I am in the majority when it comes to Lara - Canelo and Maidana Floyd that they were both close fights. All those fights were closer than Floyd - Guerrero, on the official cards, and in my opinion. If you disagree with that, then you are in a so-called alternate reality.

I like your example of JCC Sr vs Sweet Pea Whitaker though. I did watch that fight many years ago and remember thinking Sweet Pea did enough to win. However JCC Sr was such an iconic figure, it was understandable that it was a draw. Sweet Pea was the more skilled boxer, and technically scored more impressive boxing points, but JCC Sr's body language was such that it was hard to score a round against him. He had a certain way about him that saw a lot of those rounds as close. I would say that Canelo Floyd was actually closer than JCC Sr vs Sweet Pea was. Sweet Pea did his thing and landed a lot of combinations in that fight and probably should have gotten the decision.

Despite all this, I still sort of agree with the decision there in the sense that two judges had it 115-115 and one judge had it 115-113. You have to realize that JCC Sr at that time was 87-0. Think about that for a second. You have a guy that has an unheard of record of 87-0. In the eyes of many experts, Whitaker was accused of ducking Chavez for many years and waiting for Chavez to age. There were a lot of factors that went into that fight, but I would say despite Whitaker out landing JCC Sr it was still competitive in that Whitaker never really hurt JCC Sr.

It's a classic to those that understand and appreciate what they're watching, it's definitely not made for ******s and simple minded trash like yourself.

In the rematch Holyfield hired a new trainer and changed his style altogether for this one fight, not all fighters are capable of displaying that kind of ATG skill, dedication and consistency. That was one of the primal reasons the fight is considered a great one despite the lack of brainless swinging for the limited minds to comprehend.
