I am having a very balanced debate. You very unbalanced and showing yourself to be a clueless stereotypical boxing fan. What about what I said was incorrect? I described the situation between JCC Sr and Sweet Pea in a very fair way. I don't know how you can be sure that I am latino or mexican simply by reading posts on a message board. The reason why I think your a ***** is because you think Floyd won 10 rounds vs Maidana and because you are making this about my ethnicity without even knowing what my ethnicity is. You are making a huge assumption that because I agree with those decisions (where Canelo won) that makes me a mexican or a latino. Isn't that a little narrow-minded? Wouldn't that be like saying if you agreed with Floyd's decision wins that means you must be black? People of all ethnicities agreed with Canelo beating Lara. Of course some people thought Lara won. We see this kind of thing all the time.

dude, everybody knows latins are the biiggest fight fans...in america, they're like the ONLY boxing fans left, so the promoters always pack the undercard with a buncha latinos. Thing is 90% of the time its some dudes nobody ever heard of or even cares about and the fights suck... nobody but latinos wants to watch that sh8t.

yo, i'm JMM's biggest fan. I really wanted him to win the last two pacman fights, but sad to say, he was beaten in the third fight and then he cheated by using PED's in the fourth fight...too bad because I was really rooting for him.

If it wasn't close then why is there a rematch?

Plenty of people believe that Maidana deserved the decison.

By comparison no one thought that Canelo won.

    Right.

Are you sure? No one thought that Canelo beat Lara? No one??? Last time I checked, a lot of people thought Canelo won. There was a split amongst boxing fans, a lot of people sure did think Lara won. It was a split decision, and a split amongst boxing fans. (like Maidana vs Floyd)

two words: magical realism (look it up)- it wasn't close...but people wanted so bad for floyd to lose, they basically willed themselves to call it a close fight. They chose to delude themslves! They kept calling for the rematch prertending that they believed floyd would be too scared to give one. and when floyd accepted those same people, without skipping a beat were like "there goes mayweather cherry picking again...it's a sh8t fight because floyd already beat him fairly easy thefirst time."

Canelo did lose to Lara, and he had a close fight with Trout (although, I had Canelo winning soundly upon first watch--second, not so much). I might have to rescore it sometime in the future because of how many people thought Trout won.

Your boy Mayweather lost to Castillo.

    Deal with it!

Maidana was making Mayweather uncomfortable and in turn Mayweather was not sticking Maidana hard enough to make him hesitant and uncomfortable.

The overall better blows of the night were landed by Maidana, people fail to give a good body attack its proper due.

Mayweather missed alot of shots himself but because he's supposed to be the defensive wizard, people fail to notice Maidana's defense and not credit it accordingly.

I had it 7-5 Mayweather scoring round by round as a fight should be scored, but my overall impression of the fight was that Maidana was more comfortable doing his thing than Mayweather was with his.

Maidana has a history of wearing down the stretch, its happened in most of his big fights. It even happened against a shopworn Morales.
