Of course, but he won't smother himself. He'll step inside with a punch, either a counter or first shot, and it will be up to Floyd to move or counter. But Canelo does not stay inside. Floyd's inside game relies on his opponents smothering themselves. You should watch James Toney vs Iran Barkley. That is a great example of what Floyd could do if Canelo is willing to smother himself. He doesn't fight like that though. He won't give Floyd an opportunity to utilize that strategy. It would be an act of desperation from Canelo. He has not shown that he does that in the past.
Floyd's inside game doesn't rely on opponent's smothering themselves. Floyd's inside game makes them smother themselves. And Canelo is a rank amateur on the inside.
You can deny it all you want. You are like the guy that doesn't say anything when your wife comes home with her bra moved around and her lip stick smudged, smelling of liquor. You say, "Why are you back so late?" Then she says, "Mind your own ****in business. You are a homo***ual." Then you say... Nothing. That is denial, my friend.
Come on man. You're acting like Floyd is a magnet and Canelo is a piece of metal. Like he'll be pulled together with Mayweather by some unstoppable force. That's ridiculous.
Well yeah that is ridiculous. Good thing I didn't say that. You have a guy with a shorter reach facing an excellent defensive opponent and you think he can just lay back? Let's use our heads for a second here. Canelo will have to step in and Floyd will be happy to meet him halfway and work on the inside where Canelo is lost. It's a risky maneuver for Floyd but unless he suffers a one-punch KO, he will batter the kid.
You do realize that Canelo is a counterpuncher that punches often in combinations, don't you? Why would Floyd willingly give him an avialable target? If Floyd chooses to utilize your strategy, it will be an early night, where Floyd's body gets destroyed.
Guerrero throws more (naturally meaning more will land), so you missed out on that Guerrero is also faster despite the illusion of him being slow, because he always looked somewhat slower against smaller guys. He used his 5'8"/70" range to deal with smaller guys, it didn't work with Flyd because he is not that small & his better speed & timing increases his range a few inches...Thats why Mayweather didn't take on a rangier volume puncher like Margarito or Paulie Williams, but he is willing to take on a prime powerful undefeated Light middle Weight, who has a similar frame to Guerrero & is expected to be slower...with much less volume than Guerrero Age (speed/timing loss), Volume & Range are the true threat to Mayweather He can beat Age by taking on more fights faster, vs bigger slower fighters...The range he will just have to give up and take risks in the future if he wants to be GOAT...:bbb
I'm glad you brought your bitchass back to ESB Capsfund\Roach\HENDO...Stay over here and pollute the site with your stupidity! Thank God they banned your bitchass from the other site!
