The gulf in difference between Fury and Wilder in boxing ability is comical no way he loses!

Honestly now, cts80 who was more hurt / buzzed at the end of the 12th? You know your boxing and legs don't lie.

Because he gassed himself out, that was due to exhaustion and walking into punch after punch flush that Fury was loading up on when Wilder was irresponsibly windmilling while looking for a KO as opposed to Fury landing some haymaker while walking him down. If Wilder clips him with a glancing blow and nearly puts his lights out that he wasn't even sitting down, and Fury lands countless bombs on a dead tired Wilder and can['t even put him down, you tell me who has a higher likelihood of scoring a one punch KO this time?

Look , you make valid points cts80.
Of course wilder has more chance for a single shot ko. There's no doubt here.
Was wilder tired, hell yeah, but so was fury.
This was after being knocked down heavy just 30sec later that rd.
Yet fury came up, dusted himself and proceeded to bully him the last 1:30min of rd12. Wilder didn't want to be in there. He looked like a broken down man, physically and mentally. Didn't even raise his arms.

So if you tell me wilder is going to start where he left off. I say bring it on. Because that wilder from the 12th road is getting ktfo.

    Thank you, and we'll see.

But keep that in mind, Wilder was really tired when he landed the KD shot. He didn't fully sit down on it, he clipped him, what if he made full impact and punched through his target like he did with Stiverne, Ortiz and Breazeale? And early, not gassed, with full power?

Yeah, because that's how boxing is scored:

    1. Effective Aggression
    2. Ring Generalship
    3. Defense
    4. Hard and Clean Punches
    5. Which one I'd rather be...

People need to relax, everyone knows Fury likes to exaggerate and give these do or die ultimatums to motivate himself. He said a similar thing about losing to Wlad. But he definitely respected Wlad's skills, and by the way Davison talks about Wilder and Wilder's coach, it's obvious they had respect for the dangerous 'specialist' style Wilder ended up with.

As for the 'real life fight' analogy, without gloves, Fury's clean hits could have ended the fight before Wilder landed the RH in the later rounds. Wilder could easily break his hands with the off target hayemakers in a bare knuckle fight, you have to consider that too.

The shots Wilder landed that put Fury down in the 12th were in no way ‘glancing blows’ it was a flush straight right and a flush left hook while he was on the way down. Wilder then landed a couple more flush bombs when Fury got up.

There’s no point trying to rewrite history by saying Wilder only caught him with glancing blows and almost had him out. He did almost have him out but he caught him with the best shots he’s got. He might well knock him out this time but he’s got to land perfectly to do it.

It was a glancing blow by Wilder's standard, Fury was ducking down and caught most of the right on the ear and Wilder landed the left hook that shot his head in the other direction, as in he didn't land it as flush as the shots he landed on Breazeale, Stiverne and Ortiz. But you already know that don't you? Since you already said as much. That wasn't his best shots, the shots that he landed on Ortiz, Breazeale and Stiverne are his best shots. Which he will land perfectly this time.

When someone lays in wait looking to time someone and land one perfect shot, that's arranged, characterized by, or performed with method or order. Like a sniper. So yeah, it's the very definition of methodical.

Saddens me to see such boxing fans to big that shat up, maaaan.

    Sad.

He waits cos he has nothing else, and you think that's good for boxing, how?

    Hardly methodical, not quite!

Well, I like a bit more to my boxing than waiting for some clown that has nothing more than a punchers chance.

It saddens me no end to see such a poor heavyweight champ.

But hey ho, there we go. Each to their own!
