Well Said. Those fat guys should be in shape or expect to get ridiculed. Rampage can't coach nor select matchups, but that's not his fault as i'm sure he was told to coach by the UFC. By the way, there's only so much coaching that can go on in the amount of time ahead of the preliminary fights you've seen so far. Rampage should figure out how to build confidence and morale, but given the situation and time of training the athletes themselves should be held accountable too
In the space of time alloted they can teach a few moves, show some refinements and give them strategy. They need to understand their strengths and weaknesses. It's made infinitely worse when these guys don't come to the competition in shape.
I understand what you're trying to say, but this isn't the same as Travis Lutter not being in shape for Anderson Silva. Most of these guys don't have top camps to prepare them and show them what to do to find a good weight and maintain it successfully. You can see which guys come from camps with pros to prepare them and which ones don't.
I thought the same thing, talk about wearing out a joke I was getting sick of also especially when he was suppose to get his fighter ready for the fight and he was still talking about that guys titties. Maybe he thinks he has a career because he is so funny...because his crew and buddies are always laughing at him.
If any fighter ever takes time out of real training to work on his physique to impress people like you THEN he should quit the sport and lock himself away and never come out. Who gives a **** what any of these guys look like as long as they can win fights? If Roy Nelson can beat guys with six packs an bodybuilder pecs then in their sport HE'S THE BETTER PROFESSIONAL. It's not a ****ing beauty contest guys.
Anyone who thinks that Jackson is being funny on this season's TUF is probably the kind of guy who cuts a fart and then giggle's like a 7th grade little schoolgirl. Not funny at all........stupid.
What a pathetic thing to say. Being in shape is a by product of your training. Running, skipping, eating healthy etc Half the guys in the house are fat. Suprise suprise 'titties' is drinking bear. Real dedicated athlete. The odd athlete will not be a body beautiful but there are too many fat guys. Being in shape because you did your road work, ate right etc would only make you a better fighter. Being overweight hurts your game from many different aspects. If a heavyweight has fat like Fedor then that is one thing but to have fat like Nelson or titties is just stupid and shows a lack of dedication. Ultimately these guys are paid from our pockets so it's only fair I demand they are in shape. You wouldn't be happy with any faulty product that you paid money for would you? A fat athlete is a faulty product.
