Yep! A pity that his health problems forced him to call it a day! The sky was the limit for him after he beat Jacobs but fate had another plan for him.GGG and Pirog seemed to be on a collision course then.I would have loved to see them fight then-a feast for our sore eyes. I guess that Pirog would probably have lost by point decision to GGG but despite being under heavy fire he would have hold the forth and wouldnt have gone down. And I am also sure that GGG would have found himself in hot water at some moments of his encounter with Pirog, too.
I sincerely hope you're not making reference to events that happened recently with those emoticons. Either way it's very distasteful and you should know better.
I'm also wondering what event he refers to. Is America under imminent threat of attack by another desert nation halfway across the globe that happens to float on oil? OMG! Prime the Tomahawks! Time to nuke those rat terrorists!
Ward would beat him, Dirrell is 50/50, DeGale is 40/60, At Middleweight; Eubank Jr and Saunders are 30/70, Jacobs or Lemieux, Canelo or Cotto 20/80. At Jr. Middlewight, no one.
At this point I pick Golovkin over any current boxer under 168. I reckon that he has a good chance of beating Ward too. Historically, I would agree with the OP. You'd need someone with an iron chin, good power, and who could fight like a beast on the inside. Such a boxer would have to be pretty Marvellous to beat GGG :hey
I don't know anyone who I'd favor to beat him at 160 lbs. But I'd favor Ward over him. Stylistically, that's a nightmare matchup for GGG and I think Ward would box his ears off right in the pocket. It doesn't look like GGG can fight going backwards too well, and it also looks like he's a pretty stationary target that can be hit flush by an accurate puncher inside the pocket. The only question mark is Ward's rustiness in the ring and how well he can take Gennady's shots. I'm pretty sure his chin would hold up very well though, I mean he shared a ring with the Cobra who has some dynamite power himself.
I think he may be referring to the incident with the reporter and cameraman. A man videotaped himself walking up to a reporter interviewing someone and then shooting all of them while they were on live television. The man then uploaded the video on his twitter/facebook. Horrendous:-(
The fact the only person people are confident might beat GGG is the #1 at the weight above says more about GGG than it does Ward.
